I've stayed around Davis Square a few times but Steven and Christina's place is the absolute best I've experienced.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

The venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful, clean, and presentable. We requested a charcuterie board, champagne, and fruit platter, and it was stunningly displayed and high quality. There was a great mini-bar. Anna the manager was very responsive and accommodating. I am extremely pleased with our experience and would 100% recommend this venue!

I flew in late to Boston so I entered the house really late, but there was no problem! At the Morrison House, I stayed at the Little Room - it was very cozy and cute, perfect size for a young girl like myself. The bed was nice and I slept very well. It was also nice to have a heating system that I can adjust perfectly. I shared a bathroom with the guests in the Davis Room, which was no problem because I shower at night and no one else did. The bathroom was kept very clean and, also very cute. I also liked how the guests have chance to meet each other when they all come down for breakfast between 8-9 am. Since I mostly get to talk with people of my age back in school, it was a refreshing feeling to get to know older couples, etc. The Morrison House is in a perfect little college town too. I got to enjoy some great foods, including the hamburger shop that was introduced in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, one of my favorite TV show! :D The fee was also reasonable, so I would like to give Morrison House a five-star! I would definitely come back if there is an occasion.

Bathrooms are spacious and clean, and sound doesn't carry between the rooms. There's a lovely back yard, and ample parking (v. important in Boston). Steps from the subway. Two thumbs up. Oh, I forgot to mention: their cat, Sebastian, is very friendly and wants you to enjoy your stay. If you're feeling down, he may follow you up to your room so you can scratch him behind the ears and rub his tummy.

Staff was easy to communicate with since we had plane delays for Check in and wanted to pay cash (they also leave after 11 pm and you need a code). Luckily, they gave us good info and got there around 9:30 PM so we were able to take care of business as we hoped. They are around if you need help. We didn't need room cleaning (stayed for 4 nights) because we had everything we need: toiletries, towels, etc. Big nice room (we stayed in the other building, the white one), got a contemporary one with own bathroom (rates are more reasonable here that in downtown Boston where there are still hotels w. shared bathrooms-not interested!). Room was clean, had lots of furniture to put your things on. Nice sheets, comfy bed and pillows. Fridge, microwave, tea kettle, everything you need. Cute backyard behind with vegetation and flowers. Pretty quiet, no parties, the other people staying here were decent. Many kitchens around- didn't use and cute common areas for eating, reading, hanging out. No Breakfast, they didn't bring it back since the pandemic. They offer complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water. We got pastries across at Pemberton Farms, a nice Market. Small Bathroom (happy to have it), low water pressure and the toilet seat needs to be replaced, very loose. Old buildings, you can hear creaking and people walking around (we were on ground level), but quiet overall! Safe location, the inn has character being located in an old Victorian house with its quirky decor, in a cool area with shops and restaurants around. Good option for Boston area where hotels are so pricey! Unique option for our stay!
