It's a lingering sensitivity in one of my molars after a previous filling. The first time I had it looked at another dentist office they brushed it off! Then I went to another dentist and they suggested an expensive, invasive procedure. I was starting to think I'd never get it resolved until I went to Sequoia Valley Dental Group. Dr. Kim took the time to actually listen to me. He didn't rush through the appointment or dismiss my concerns like I'd experienced before. He did a thorough examination, took some additional X-rays, and explained exactly what was happening with my tooth and why I was feeling the sensitivity. Rather than jumping straight to something drastic, Dr. Kim suggested a less invasive option to address the issue--and it worked! For the first time in months, I can eat on that side without discomfort. What I appreciated most was the transparency and the genuine care the entire team showed. Dental visits can sometimes feel transactional, but here, it felt like they truly cared about my long-term health, well-being, and really treated me like family. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and professional. The office is very clean and calm, and they took great care in making me feel safe and comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and his team. Sequoia Valley Dental Group definitely sets the bar high.

His skill is terrible also. I had to tell him to stop working on me because he was leaning hard on my face/jaw and scraping his dental utensils across my face. He also numbed my throat so deeply, I lost my ability to swallow and started choking. I have never told a dentist to "stop!" I got up without finishing because his bedside manner was disgusting.

The dentist told me that she needed caps put on, he also said that that was moderate decay. Since she is only 2, she has to be two and a half to put the cap on so we had to wait. It turns out they were just that only stains there was no decay and her teeth are back to white. I'm sure glad I didn't put the caps on her, thank God. I'm surprised he didn't know the difference between stains and decay.
