The only time I called them was because of the dishwasher and it was replaced in a timely manner. Earlier this year, late June into early July my home was broken into. F&C puts in their contract that they are not responsible for break in damages. Little did I know my renters insurance would not cover it either because it is supposed to be the property owners responsibility. That was a $1000 lesson learned. It also took multiple phone calls to finally get them to send their contractor out to fix the door. It ended up being the last week of September before it got fixed. Almost 3 full months. Upon move out they made me steam clean the carpets even though they weren't steam cleaned for me upon move in and it was annotated on the move-in inventory that they weren't. Shontia Calhoun herself said I wouldn't be responsible, but I was. They also took money from my security deposit for a broken closet door knob that was also annotated by F&C on the move-in inventory. They acknowledged it when I called but it's been 3 weeks and they have made no attempt to correct anything.

We went to the office and we were given a 50 page list of properties for rent. We were told to ignore the pet policies because many owners just wanted veto power. We picked up ten keys of properties to visit on our own. While this was convenient, it made me nervous to rent a home where anyone with a license could take keys and potentially copy them for later, nefarious use. We eventually decided on a home to rent. We were told that was unavailable. We had a second house we were interested in and were told it was available. We put in our application fee and deposit and waited to hear back. And waited. And waited. Eventually, after daily calls checking on the status, we were told that someone else was approved before us. This was less than two weeks before I was scheduled to make a 600 mile move and now had no place to move into. They did refund our fees and deposits. Their customer support has been very good and they make sure I'm in the loop when one of my properties is having an issue or when it's rented. The website they use is also very helpful and I can easily check on payments and rent roll via their user friendly platform. So far, so good! I have 3 properties that they manage and so far, so good. They charge like most other companies in the region 10% of rent and a little more for the first month.

She began by telling me this is "standard procedure". Not once did she apologize for the inconvenience or offer any accommodations. After my initial shock of her tone and response, I shared that I expected a higher level of service. She then proceeded to yell and ask what did I mean. When I'm paying nearly 2,000 in rent, I told her at the bare minimum I expected an apology for the inconvenience. She continued with her apathetic response and still never offered an apology. BEAUTIFUL LANDMARK IN UPTOWN COLUMBUS GEORGIA…read more================================================ My husband and I were staying across the river at the end of April and beginning of May while visiting my son. This whole complex including the water tower is so strikingly beautiful in the way it looks. I just couldn't help myself from taking multiple photos of it. This big property is now mixed-use residential and commercial property, but it was originally a cotton mill back in 1860. I really hate this part of history, but I am just explaining the history of this complex. They produced the material for the Confederate uniforms during the Civil War. The Eagle Mills buildings were burned during the war, but were rebulit in 1869 and renamed the Eagle & Phenix Mills to symbolize rising from the ashes. It became the largest mill in the south by 1878. W. C. Bradley was on the board of the company that owned the mill and he ended up owning the mill from 1915 until 1947. In December of 2003 the mill property was repurchased by W. C. Bradley Co.. If you drive around Uptown Columbus you will see that name on most of the properties along the Chattahoochee River.
