If you can Avoid using Orange telephone service , do so. Orange SMS service is the worst service I've ever used in the world. Once I'd signed up and bought a SMS card, they threatened to cut off my service in 3 days because my phone had not be properly "registered.". I took my phone to 3 different boutiques, each of which assured me that I was clearly registered, with all official information. But orang cut off my service anyway. Finally I had to change the number they had given me for my stay in France. Within a week they began sending me texts that my 30 euros was nearly used up, though all I had done was brief text messages to make appointments.
I tried to recharge the phone as instructed, using the credit card with which I had bought the new SMS card and number, but 30 minutes ago, I received a text message that my type of account could not be recharged using a credit card. I was advised to find a boutique where I could buy a "recharge ticket" with a number that I should text to them. I am in the country where there are no nearby boutiques. So my phone is now useless until I return to a big city where , perhaps, one of the boutiques will have this recharge ticket. I have spent literally days of my short vacation trying to get phone service that I can use to make appointments.
Orange should be put out of business if it cannot improve its customer service. read more
