I noticed after the fact that certain charitable contributions and other expenses were included in my return that I did not authorize or provide any documentation for. These inaccuracies are not only incorrect but could also pose compliance risks. Additionally, the time claimed to have been spent on the return does not align with the nature of the communication and the information I actually submitted. I attempted to discuss this with you previously, but unfortunately, I felt that my concerns were dismissed without being properly addressed. I had to have another tax professional thoroughly review and correct my return immediately to reflect only the information I personally provided. Things started off great, as I was promptly sent a link to upload my documents. After reviewing my files, Stephanie said that she would need the help of a colleague to complete my return. I agreed, and we filed an extension. Now, two months have passed. I've reached out to Stephanie multiple times over text and I've left voice messages. She has not returned a single one of my calls, aside from the initial one, and she waits days, to get around to responding to texts, if she responds at all. She has blamed her colleague for not reaching out to me, and takes no responsibility herself. After wasting hours uploading documents and trying to work with her, I've come to realize that she has no intention of completing my taxes. This is beyond disheartening, and has added tons of stress to an already stressful situation. I expressed my concerns to her multiple times over the past few weeks, while trying to resolve this issue, but she doesn't seem to care. Her website mentions a "hero discount." I'm a veteran, but that doesn't seem to matter. Her services mention, "small business up to corporate" but she couldn't manage to figure out how to file for my business, which is definitely a small business.
