I was in Bardstown today for my "first day" of my second stint at a local company I used to work for from 2008-2014. The town has changed much since I was last here, lots of growth and options. I used to stay at the Hampton Inn when it was still here (now a "Spark" by Hilton. I'm at the Holiday Inn Express and they recommended having lunch here since there's a 10% discount for hotel guests. I've eaten here before but new ownership and food offerings have been updated- including an Indian menu! Lala greeted me when I arrived, I'm the only in person diner but I chose a bacon cheeseburger with no onion, and Swiss cheese. I chose the side of tater tots. I asked to see the menu for the Indian offerings and it looks like they have a smaller offering; but something for everyone. I'm mowing down my food as I write this review. The tater tots are superbly seasoned and cooked. Crispy and stayed that way the entire time I was eating. I lived in Chicago for 20 years, and Red Gold ketchup and salsa were some of my favorites. The burger was cooked perfectly, the bacon crispy, Swiss cheese melted nicely and the bun toasted along with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles (no onion since I'm going right to work ) for that perfect lunch. I hope that people keep supporting this business. I'm sure the pizza is still great but next time I may come back and try some of the Indian offerings for a different path when I'm back in town. Support Lala, Kajal, and this small owned business! read more

I'm giving it a 2 because the waitress was friendly. And because my son liked his appetizer. And because they have Coca-cola products. Other than that, I was so disappointed in this place. Walking in, we were greeted by the overwhelming smell of some kind of cleaning solution or pungent air freshener. It took awhile to acclimate to that. To the point I wondered if my food would taste like it. They have pizza, some basic Italian food and a whole separate menu of Indian food. My son loves Indian food, so I compromised and went there. He got an appetizer of Samosas which he really enjoyed. I don't like Indian food, so I personally cannot give an account, but he loved it. I got potato skins. They were fine, but nothing worthy of note. Husband got spaghetti and meatballs. It said spaghetti AND meatballs on the menu. But they charged extra for the meatballs. $13 for a mediocre portion of spaghetti and sauce, and then an additional charge for the meatballs that were supposed to be part of the meal as on the menu. And they were not good meatballs. Probably something from a vendor like GFS, and then boiled. They were very...gray. And bland. Olive Garden is not the bastion of Italian food, but they charge about the same price and it's good. And they include breadsticks and soup/salad. I'm not a chain restaurant kind of person, but this place makes me want I got a pizza with extra cheese. Good thing I did or it would have no cheese. If you get green peppers, they will be diced into very large pieces and put on top. Almost like having fresh peppers put on top of a cooked pizza. The crust is good and has a good chew to it, but it is "flimsy" like a NY style pizza and it cannot support the weight of the toppings. Son surprised me and also got pizza. While he loved the samosas, he likened his pizza to a glorified Tombstone pizza. For $20+, that's kinda sad. $80+ for food that was underwhelming at best, is a pricey little lesson learned. I'm not going back, but if you like Indian food, this will probably be a great place for you. read more

Great sports bar! Great staff! Great food...especially the pizza! And their loaded tots are simply delicious. Chicken beriane was exploding with flavor. Good selection of bourbon. If you're near Bardstown, don't screw it up. Stop by for a memorable dining experience. Seriously. Cheers! read more

Service here sucks. Waited over a half hour to get service at your establishment tonight. WTF.... Waitress more concerned with Karaoke. Sorry. This is not Mrs. Lees whoopy hall. This is supposed to be a family restaurant. She should be fired. Came out of town to be with friends in Bardstown. Should have stayed home. I get better service at Burger King. I will never step in your establishment again and will let many of my Bardstown friends know. Sincerely Not, A disgusted customer... read more

Just got into town and was looking for a fun bar to go to that had good food. This place had mixed reviews. It turned out to be the highlight of the day! Regulars welcomed us and the bartender Tabitha was so awesome and fun! She was extremely busy but was very attentive! We had a pizza and it was delicious! They also had IPA on tap which isn't easy to find in bourbon country. This was a great find! read more

We had a pizza delivered to our hotel. Plenty of toppings and a great taste. Would definitely order from here again.

It has been more than a year since I visited this place. As soon as I walked in I noticed a remodel. The horrid booths were gone and replaced with tables. At first I thought this was nice, but the service made this place fall apart. My friend and I first went to the bar. We waited a minute-no bartender. So we decided to try a table. A waitress said she would be with us in a minute. It was a couple minutes before an Indian woman came to take our drink order and hand us menus. That is when we realized it was under new owners and now also an Indian restaurant. I have never eaten Indian food and was tempted to try it. Once she brought our drinks she never came back. We waited a good five minutes. We had to flag down another waitress so U could find out how much my drink was and leave. We had to be somewhere within the hour and it was obvious that we were not going to be waited on. Service here is so slow it wasn't worth waiting to see if the food would be good. They were not busy-there were only two tables beside us. We went next door to Umami and got sushi. We were seated immediately and our order was taken quickly. We made our show on time. read more

Food was great. The brick oven pizza was excellent and the service was great. If I lived closer I would go more often.

A pleasant surprise on our road trip. Our expectations were low but turned out we were wrong. The pizza was good, the service was good, and even the other customers were fun to chat with. For a small town pizza joint, I would highly recommend. read more

This was one of our favorite go to restaurants. It started going down now after new owners. It is so bad now that I will never go back again. Tonight my family and I went there. The service is so rude, disgusting, slow, and the food was terrible. read more

We tried the wings and they were really good. The mango habanero were flavorful and they cooked them crispy just like we asked for. Owner was friendly and the waitress was on it. read more

Great service, great crust on pizza... but A bit too much Parmesan cheese on pizza. 3 stars at best!

I had a really good pizza here! Beer was cold too. Plenty of seating!! Service was very good too! What more could you ask for? read more

So this place adds 3% to your bill without telling you until after you pay with a credit card.... Slimy for sure.... Unfortunately for the staff, I'm paying the same and that 3% was deducted from the tip.... They had 1 poor girl taking care of the entire dining area and at one point at least 10 tables, so the service was not ideal.... Ordered wings extra crispy and they were not even close, but couldn't send them back because the server was so busy she could hardly check on us... THIS WAS ENTIRELY THE OWNERS FAULT!! I use to frequent this place and didn't for awhile as they were changing owners and trying to revamp the place, this is NOT a place I will be back to and it's the owners fault.... Do better and treat your staff better I would say. Very sad because this place was a true gem and has a ton of potential for sure. read more

Great service, excellent Indian food. The space could be spruced up a bit but no complaints about the food, bar area, or service.

We got a burger and it was sour tasting. It took 40 minutes to get our food. They were also doing construction while we were eating. The man that brought out our food wasn't friendly either. read more

take out pizza is decent, but WAY overpriced. probably won't come here again based off that alone. They also add a charge when you call in to order. Absolutely absurd. read more

The music is amazing. I wish lights were dimmed a bit for ambiance. Food is very good. Nothing here is over the top but this is the key! I came to this place 10 minutes after they close and stop serving food and their server actually went back to the kitchen and got me something to eat Jasmin was the person who really shined. Damn good service. read more

Would have loved to eat here. We walked in, and were finding a table, and a lady server told us " it will be an hour". We only had 2 people in our party, and it appeared there were tables available???? She said " they were short staffed". We decided to take our business elsewhere. Awesome location, just a mile from the bourbon festival. Best buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had. That plus $2 draft on Sunday. Winner!

The pizza was great and the staff friendly and attentive. The Philly sandwich was good too.

Bar and pizza service was awesome!!! waitress was awesome, very attentive, sociable and fast getting everything we ordered.

Food was good, the service was very preoccupied with her cell phone. I'd try it again, the Stromboli was filled with cheese!

Food was ok...Waitress brought our food and said sorry I didn't make your salad and told every other table that she she didn't make their salad. Management needs to step up and get more help read more

the food was delicious, our server George was amazing, and we just had an all around good experience. the karaoke nights are also amazing.

Well unfortunately the day we visited the kitchen was closed due to new ownership and a language barrier with the staff. Our server Candy was actually the bartender - she was we really sweet and the only one working the entire restaurant. Too bad because we were looking forward to their food! I will say the maple old fashioned was delicious. It and Candy deserved 5 stars. read more

I'm going with two stars because the sauce is pretty good but the rest is just awful. A calzone and Stromboli are not the same thing but this place seems to think they are. The server asked us twice how we wanted our toppings and still got it wrong. It's to bad it is dirty with horrible service because the sauce is delicious. read more

A day of tastings and distilleries warranted some noshing. I was absolutely delighted that my husband vetoed papa Johns and found this pizza joint near our hotel. We picked up a meat madness pizza for the hotel room, not really picky after our long day. The pizza was delicious! The sauce...perfect. The cheese... buttery. The crust...perfectly crispy and bubbly. The large pepperonis were curled and crisped on the edges, with tasty crumbled sausage and ham. I definitely recommend!!! read more
