They let anyone and everyone come in and sit and knit, which is a great time to take in all the yarn candy in the shop. They are so friendly they helped my husband find a great birthday gift, a yarn hat kit, and he was proud to hand it to me. There is an eclectic group of people that come and knit, and some that come in, asking a plethora of questions, all answered btw, and buy their fibers there. In Swansboro does not mean far from beachers, tourists, and lovers of a short distance adventure from the beach. AND well worth the time to be with Peggy and Roxanne, and everyone that comes in. And don't check the faces, those knitters are knitting one of the wonderful yarns and pattern that both Peggy and Roxanne have helped them find to your liking. They mean business, SALTY SHEEP BUSINESS, and what great fun. Even if you don't knit or crochet, you will before you go! Find your beach or porch project and enjoy! Thank you Peggy.

I walked right in and hit the mother load! The cashier knew the value of certain rare items, which was comforting, though it made it a little pricier for me. I could have spent hours browsing. The staff as welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the little strip mall.
