This place is so great! Relatively cheap and so much fun for my daughter who is 18 months old. Recommend for young families to have fun

This is a REAL no judgement atmosphere of encouragement, knowledge, and respect for showing up! Love this gym!!

I'm disappointed to leave this review because my wife originally had a positive impression of Iron…read morePride and genuinely wanted to participate in the classes. We paid for her to attend a class three times a week for one month. In addition to the class fee, the gym charged a separate membership fee. She was also not offered the one-week free membership that is described on the gym's website. Unfortunately, after attending only three classes, my father-in-law suffered a massive stroke. What followed was an extremely difficult period for our family, including hospitalization and stroke treatment, a skilled nursing facility stay, assisted living in Michigan, selling his home, and ultimately moving both of my in-laws to an assisted living facility out of state. Under those circumstances, my wife simply could not continue attending the classes, despite wanting to. When she contacted the gym to explain the situation and ask about a refund for the unused classes and membership, she was told that there are no refunds. We understand that the stroke was not the gym's responsibility, but we were disappointed by the lack of flexibility or consideration given the circumstances. We were told that the unused classes could instead be given to someone else, but that wasn't a practical solution for us. I previously posted a review describing our experience. After seeing it, the owner, Jason, contacted me and was understandably unhappy with the review. He asked me to remove it and said he would send a refund to make things right. I agreed to take the review down based on that representation, but the refund was never received.

If you let them debit your account, the only way to stop them is to close the account and change banks. I followed my contract to the letter to cancel my membership. I have a voicemail recording of them confirming my membership is closed, but they continue to take money from my account twice a month. Their response this week to my request to stop was to increase the amount they take from my account. They gave me the same line of BS that I have to come to the office "in person". That is not in the contract. That is not legally required. What is legally required is that they stop taking money from my account. They know that I won't pay for an attorney because it's such a nuisance amount. But when I show up with a policeman on Monday and ask them to arrest the manager for theft, maybe they will change their SOP.

There are no considerations for being over an hour away and unable to make it before it closes due to construction and work. There is no understanding or flexibility. The manager was very rude. Do not sign up. There is no logical reason why someone would have to go in person. Canceling in writing should suffice.

We pay a premium for this gym to enjoy a pool, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. Unfortunately,…read morethe place is packed with clicks of kids dropped off all day to hang out. The pool is overrun with kids to the point they spill over into the swim lanes so either they are in my way or a random soccer ball gets slammed into my head while swimming. I watched a guy in the hot tub get his glasses knocked off his face and broken by a kid jumping in despite the 18 or older sign. The lifeguards ignore it all. Adult swim time is extremely limited. Wanted to learn Pilates. Class hours are sparse. I took 3 classes but stopped when I hurt my back - the instructor was disinterested. I get closer coaching at independent studios. The kids use the weight machines to sit and scroll on their phones. Not a lot of working out going on while I'm waiting. I never see anyone clean a machine after they use it so I clean before and after each machine use. The locker room bathroom is pretty gross, staff just can't possibly keep up with the crowds. I'm forced to head back to Planet Fitness where membership costs are reasonable. No pool but I can't use it at Lifetime anyway so I may as well stay at Planet Fitness. This is so disappointing, I had high hopes because they have so much to offer. Planet Fitness is closer to home and more adult.
