This is MY GYM! The…read morefront desk employees are professional, friendly and helpful! They are always smiling, they are energetic, they are encouraging! THE COACHES, they push and push you some more, they encourage you, they work so hard! You walk into the doors of the Junkyard and you can expect consistency, you can expect to work hard and you can expect to walk out feeling like you got your butt kicked but wanting to come back for more! I walked into this gym two years ago and about 50lbs heavier. I didn't really know what to expect, I just knew I wanted to make a change, I was happy with myself and I wanted more. My previous work outs had been at the YMCA and I would just kind of go through the motions, never really saw any results. My first workout at the JY was hard, so hard I thought I might quit but then the coaches are there motivating you, pushing you, telling you that YOU CAN DO IT! And you know what? YOU CAN DO IT and do it again! This gym has built a community, one I'm proud to be apart of! If you have heard about how hard the classes are and you are thinking I'm not in shape enough, I can't go..Or it's too hard for me..Or I'm not a college student, I couldn't keep up.. None of that is true, this gym is for all ages, all body types, all fitness levels. You start on your level and you work to improve yourself, you get faster, you get stronger..at your own pace! The person beside you on the treadmill might be faster than you but let that motivate you to work harder! There's no excuse to not try one class because I promise after you go once, you'll be coming back for more! Don't let the fear of walking through the door stop you from trying it && if you need someone to go with, I'll go with you! I want to say thank you to this gym, the employees and coaches for all you do! I see all your hard work and I appreciate it. I am better because of y'all, I want to work harder because of what you all do! I appreciate everything!

BUT IF YOU ARE - yes, come here. This was a great experience. I'm always late and they received me and were super cool. I don't recommend being late though (I am working on that.) idr my coaches name but Gracie at the front was super cool. And the owner of the food bar was super sweet too. So all around good vibes. I died. I recommend it. Super cool inspirational video in the beginning ;) I dig it. I'll be back.

Someone (seemingly the owner)…read moreapologized for the mess as they had a tree come down the night before that they were cleaning up. Lloyd, the cow, was extremely malnourished and had bones sticking out all over the place. One of the horses seemed depressed. The cavies (spelling?) were in the saddest tiny space. The cats around the property were all scrawny and terribly thin. All of the animals, regardless of type, were all fed the same pellet food that was dumped right onto the muddy ground for them to eat off of. Their water was dirty. The trash bins around the area were all full of garbage, plus there was trash all over the ground. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Their reptiles, prairie dog, snakes, and another bird are all kept in a shed on the property. They don't allow you into the shed, but bring them out one by one to show you. The girl who brought the reptiles and other poor animals out of the shed proceeded to tell us about how Skippy, the kangaroo, and the Emu, who share the same space will fight. She detailed enough that we know that Skippy jumped on the Emu's back while attacking her. Everything screams neglect, trash, and a money scheme. I would never, ever spend my money here again. I would never, ever recommend it, either. I wholeheartedly believe that this place should be shut down and the animals taken away where they can receive better care. I would give a negative score if I could.

A wonderful old school skate plaza…read more The best part was it is only $5 Tuesday nights from 7-10 and that includes the skates. If you want inline skates it's an additional $2. You can also bring your own. The place itself is old and in need of some renovations like updated carpeting. The skate floor itself is great and large. There are lockers to rent for a quarter, but we didn't feel we even needed them. There is a huge list of rules, but they weren't so strict with the cut off sleeves (it was midsummer) but they do not allow hats on the floor. Customer service could stand to be a little friendlier, but overall no one was rude. The locker attendants just don't respond. Could also get a Dj to really bring this place to life. They had music, but the entire song would end before the next one started which dropped the mood. For $5 though, I find it hard to complain and we will definitely be back.

One of the staff members helped me change the spring in my rifle and taught me how to do it myself (I have a Lancer Tactical Gen 2 rifle that shot close to 400 FPS with the stock spring while their field limit was 330) their shop had just about everything you could need to get a kit started or finished from batteries to grenade launchers. if you're considering paying this field a visit and would like to get your gun worked on, I recommend buying one of the brands they carry because they will almost always have the parts you need to upgrade your gun there on the property. if you have a side arm, make sure it is electric or green gas because they don't allow C02 (it shoots too hard) If I could give it more stars I would but this is as good as a yelp review gets Thanks Battlecat, I'll definitely be back soon
