I left my name, address and phone number. One hour later I did not hear from them, so I tried calling again. A man answered and was not pleasant to talk to. He said it would be about an hour. I needed the ride and said OK. Guess what, no car, no driver and not even a curtesy call back. The worst service ever. Never depend on this company to call back or pick you up. Use anything other than Steve's Taxi in Petersburg, VA.

An up & down experience…read more The taxi driver was very friendly & exactly on time (I called ahead to reserve). The van had 10-15 of those "new car" scented pinetree things hanging up- some in the trunk, some in the cab. The scent didn't seem overpowering, but that might've been because allergies had me stuffed up. I was coughing by the time I left the cab. I asked when I called if they took credit cards & got a yes, then when we arrived I was told the driver didn't accept cards. ARGH! Short rides I get it, but when it's over half an hour and you bother to ask beforehand? Grrr.

Ummmm.... Charged 15 for 2.5 miles. No meter in the cab. Driver didn't have change. Just a mess.read more
