As a Libertarian I applaud the voluntary nature of this recycling (as say, compared with Germany's). As a taxpayer, I wish that it cost less to recycle than to throw everything in the trash.

The Carnegie Corporation funded the construction of nine branches of the Denver Public Library. All of them are still standing, although only five retain their original function. This is one of them and it is an amazing building. It was constructed in 1912 in the Renaissance Revival style and is named for the first president of the Denver Chamber of Commerce. It was added to the National Register for Historic Places in 1986 and listed as a Denver historic landmark in 1989. The exterior of the building features extensive terracotta detailing, particularly around the dramatic clerestory windows; however, the most gorgeous feature is the striking, carved open truss ceiling in the main reading room. This looks like something out of Hampton Court (Henry VIII) and is just jaw-dropping. An absolutely wonderful space to lose yourself in a good book. The services I did use (photo studio) were pretty good, but they could use a lot of work when it comes to making things accessible, especially for blind students like myself. One more work can be done to improve this, I'll refrain from returning and use other more accessible options.
