Jarred Smith was wonderful on the phone, as I recall from 2013. He delivered a perfectly healthy…read morebeagle puppy to me, which I picked up at the airport. That was 12 years ago. Jarred told me he lives on an 18-acre farm in Missouri, and the dogs roam all over, and that his grandchildren play with the puppies. The only health issues I had were teeth that the vet had to remove, and now with old age, he's on medication for thyroid and too much protean in his blood. Most days, he still behaves like a puppy, although he can't keep up with the younger dogs at the dog park any longer! I find it hard to believe that the Smith farm is being called a "puppy mill," and I'm wary of slander. (Just look what was done to poor Mr. Trump! He got shot just because of the constant slander and political attacks, which unbelievably included false criminal charges. I met Donald Trump when I was 8 years old, and I KNOW he's a nice man, and that the Trumps have always been good friends of the Jewish people. His father Fred Trump built Seabreeze Jewish Center gratis, and my grandparents' rabbi couldn't stop blessing the man!) I think that's what's happening here--the Far Left just can't be trusted! They slam decent G-d Fearing Americans for our values, and it's insulting.

A farm animal. I received my puppy and it was sick. It was under weight and came close to being hospitalized. As much as I love my dog I feel bad for contributing to people who are in it for the money and not the love or welfare of the dogs they farm. We should all think twice before purchasing a puppy on line. I learned a valuable lesson. Buy from a breeder where you can visit and know that he and his parents are cared for and loved.

Stay away from puppys-r-us, would be my recommendation to anyone reading this feedback.

This is without a doubt a puppy mill, the facility is filthy, and dogs are not taken care of here. Trust the reviews. It's not worth saving a couple hundred dollars and choosing this breeder. Losing a dog is devastating. Losing a dog at 4 years old feels hard to comprehend. I can only guess that the numerous health problems that our dog has had over the years is due to poor breeding, and whatever goes on here behind the scenes. We are devastated.

We recently purchased a female Newfoundland from Ozark Legends. We could not be happier. Our baby,…read moreMaple, is growing like a weed and is very active and playful. When we picked Maple up we got a tour of the facilities. I can honestly say this is one of the cleanest, most well-kept facilities I've ever visited. You could tell a lot of thought and care went into the kennels. Kim also took the time to go over everything we would need to know about our new family member and answered all of my questions. When we got home, it was clear she had been socialized and handled often. She immediately took to our older German Shepherd and was potty-trained relatively quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Ozark Legends to anyone else looking for a Newfoundland.

They do not want another dog. We instead asked to be refunded the price we paid for the puppy. We have reached out to them multiple times. They have not responded to us and we have not received a refund.
