I wanted everyone to know what a great breeder Southern Missouri Shorthairs is! About two years ago…read morewe purchased our first dog from them. We were browsing puppyfind.com and saw the dog we wanted, they had their web address listed so we emailed them right away asking to reserve her. We put a deposit on her and then waited until she was ready to leave. A week before sending her we paid the remainder due. They gave us the flight information and told us everything we needed to know. During the whole time we were waiting they gave us updates, ie. videos, and photos as she grew. A year later we decided we wanted another dog and without hesitation looked up Southern Missouri Shorthairs and saw that the same mother and father of our first had another litter and knew we were set since we loved the temperament of our first and had an idea of what to expect. This time we emailed and paid in full three weeks before receiving our second dog. If you are looking for a hunting dog or a best friend for life search no more! Both of our dogs are very birdie! They even chase after shadows of birds, it's quite entertaining! They point perfectly and wait till you give them the okay to start running. And they for sure know how to use their little noses! Sometimes too well. =) I'll be the first to admit I was a little weary of paying for something upfront, but it turned out to be the best decision I made two times! Thanks Southern Missouri Shorthairs!

The second she heard the sound of the trimmers, she would not stop trying to escape. But Melissa would not give up on us!
