She did a great job grooming our long haired weiner dog. Evy our dog seemed to like it and it didn't bother her

While it is a clean facility for the kennels. The play areas did smell like urine and had poo in…read morethem. Which not knowing if any of the dogs there had internal parasites gave me a little concern. I could dose my pups up with meds to fight that. The people there, nice and polite, though did show bias for reactive dogs who bark when startled by strangers and fast movement. Never got to tell them that the dogs, while not liking the loud noise, are in an area that people use firearms at a nearby firing range. They never reacted to the other dogs until two dogs started in on each other (thankfully the dogs were from the same household and apparently are regulars with them), but my dog was aggressive when she pulled one of the employees back from the gate to the other area where the dogs were. Even though he wasn't going to go in, she didn't know that. I showed them at one point that she startles at fast "appearing out of nowhere" people, as she reacted to me coming around the corner after one of the employees had let the dogs out of the kennel while we were seeing if the pups would have issue with the people there. She barked at me and took up her "Cover" position behind the employee and was wary of me until she recognized that I was not a stranger. Being around her, I expected her to react that way since she was not seeing the employees as bad people. I could give a Five Star for the positives I saw, but my pup being called aggressive everytime she reacted to strangers she had only known for all of maybe an hour, she barked maybe 4 times the whole time. She's done the same when we go out and she wasn't paying attention and someone walks by the truck and she notices them suddenly (they "appeared out of no where"). The reaction to a perceived "bite" when she pulled the guy away from the "fighting" dogs. Even the guy said he had thought she had just touched him with a paw. I got concerned with her being treated with a bias that was just her normal reactions to strangers. The guy had no problem leading her on leash and getting her back up into the vehicle after our meet and greet. The place is clean. The people are polite. I just felt from the time we arrived and my pup's reaction to a startle of people and alerting to their presence, two high pitched barks, nothing else beyond watch after that and see if they were safe. She never showed any aggression, barked more than she felt she needed to. Which during the time we were there, there was one dog that was barking the entire time (nothing said about that dog being aggressive even though he was barking the entire time we were there nor about the two dog fighting), my pup went by the barking dog and could care less after a quick sniff, no bark or growl at that dog. The two boys in the next play area over "fighting" concerned her, but only with the safety of the guy who was in with us as we talked, and again no barking, growling, or aggressiveness from her. Her concern when dealing with other dogs are ferals around where we live, that would (ferals with aggressive behavior) fight her or her family, that try to get into our fenced yard. We have a puppy that was dumped into our yard, which we are fostering for a few weeks, that she had no problem with, she gets up and moves away when she gets tired of being chewed on. She barks at the calves across the road if they play fight where she can see them, which gets them to stop and stare at her, which she stops barking and does her "good that's done" snort and heads back to her chilling in the yard. Which I talked to them about. Thankfully I was able to find someone else after being told that they wouldn't be able to handle her during a time period they would have a lot of barking dogs and maybe a few hours of fireworks, over the week of 4th of July. Which would be like neighbors firing their rifles at targets, killing coyotes, or hunting during hunting season. The rest would be just the barking digs, which being in their own kennels and not mixing during time outside of their kennels, my pup would care less as long as they didn't threaten those she decided were part of those she needed to protect. They have seem to have no problem with the actually "aggressive" dogs. Once I voiced some of my concerns about a possible bias, there was a fabrication of how my reactive dog (which was during the time called aggressive) would not be able to be boarded for a week in July, because they would not be able to handle a reactive dog during the 4th of July fireworks and a lot of other barking dogs.

BowWow B&G is awesome. They took excellent care of my dog while I was out of the county for a few…read moreweeks. First off, the kennels are divided in half with part inside and part outside. The inside part is climate controlled. If your 4 legger is hanging out inside their kennel, they can't see the other dog but if they go outside they can see the other dogs. There's also a large and a medium play area for them to check out. My dog is a little spoiled and wouldn't eat at first, in an attempt to get her to eat they hand fed her fried chicken. After a few days she started getting into a routine. After a couple of days, I was really missing her and texted Blair, who sent me a little video of my pup. This put me at ease because I could see she was being well taken care of. A big shout out to everyone at BowWow. It's nice to have a place close to home if I need to leave my girl for a night or two.
