I first used C-Thru Window Cleaning to do my Christmas lights in 2020. Of course, Paul (the owner)…read morepromised the world with respect to service... and also advised he will only install lights that he sells. He then tells me that, though they're at five times more expensive than any lights I could find on my own, the only ones he sells are "professional grade" and the most reliable lights available. Parts of Paul's sales pitch was also that he regularly drives around and checks his customers' lights "to ensure there are no bulb failures." If there are, he say, "I replace them on the spot." Right from the start I had faulty blue bulbs... and the number at least doubled each of the next two years... and it was ONLY the blue bulbs. Last year (my third year using his service) I had 28 burned out bulbs, none of which he'd replaced. When he took them down last February (2023), he acknowledged other clients had significant issues exclusively with their blue bulbs as well, adding that he'd get his supplier to replace them ALL for me when he did my install for Christmas 2023- even the blue ones still working - under warranty as they were apparently a defective production run. He never returned my calls to set up an appointment for 2023, though, and when I saw him working at a neighbor's house I asked him about my lights. He claimed he'd already replaced them last year - which was an outright lie. He said he "couldn't afford" to replace my lights (what happened to the supplier replacing under warranty?) so I would have to pay for them. As December was just a couple weeks away I agreed, but after several calls and getting no response I concluded Paul's a monumental flake, a poor businessman and an overall shady guy. My advice, avoid doing business with him, whether it's for holiday lights or window cleaning... there a many other more reputable companies in the area.

We've had professional window (and solar panel) cleaning done a few times in the past both for our home and for our clients' remodeled projects ... I've never had anyone do such a thorough and amazing job of them. They even got the hard water spots almost entirely off where the lawn sprinklers were over-shooting a bit. I'm anxious to see the re-worked screens and and how our rental property turns out. Now to keep vigilant and not touch the glass!
