She's already been able to find me an excellent photographer with a substantial discount, recommended the best venue, was able to all the questions I wouldn't have known to ask of both the church and reception venue, and thoroughly reviews contracts before you sign. From working with her, it's evident just how experienced she is. You get so much more than a planner: you get to see your dreams become a reality. She's professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and promptly answers texts, phone calls, and emails. She's also honest, which you need when you're spending so much money on a big event. You don't want someone who always says "Yes" to you all of the time. I sincerely appreciate her candor and integrity. I found Laura at one of the bridal shows; she was the only wedding planner there. I came home with an incredibly detailed list of what she offered with her various packages. I still Googled other planners, but she was the only one with 5 star reviews ACROSS the board. Other planners weren't as detailed as she is on their Web sites, which made me hesitant to even contact them. She's not of the cheapest options, and she readily admits that but she's probably the best bang for your buck. You can do your wedding wrong (which I did the first time because we didn't have a planner) or do it with Laura (which is the right way to do it).
