You'd have no idea from the outside what Pee Pa's has to offer until you see it for yourself. What…read morea great find! Local brewed beer offering a good time for adults and even the kiddos which doesn't come around often. Located in Pinellas, Pee Pa's Garage has a little bit of everything-- local brewed beer, axe throwing, darts, video games, and an outdoor area for the little ones to run off some energy. There's even a permanent food truck slanging some very good bar food. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted with a small business pop up event to create your own cowboy hat. There are only a few parking spaces in front of the building but not to fret as there are plenty of additional spaces to the side in a dirt patch. We look forward to coming back!

There were plenty of vendors, and a popular lobster food truck outside. Inside, there is a long bar with plenty of taps. There's also lots of seating and a place for live music. I didn't intend on staying but the solo performer sounded good so I grabbed a bear and free cookie and sat down for a while. While I was leaving I ran into a friend from work. He and his group (couples) come here regularly and told me the lobster truck is amazing. There are also plenty of tvs to watch sports. There is also a BBQ trailer that is a regular food vendor. Also, if you want to get a bit dangerous, you can try your hand at ax throwing in the garage. All in all, this looks like a fun place for people of all ages. I would absolutely go back.

Pleasant Surprise finding Welton! And when I say surprise, I mean surprise - found it on Yelp but…read moreyou're not going to see it from the road. The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

It came with french fries and coleslaw, and I enjoyed both sides. Even the tartar sauce was so good - I think it might be homemade? We also ordered the Connecticut style lobster roll and the Maine red snappy hot dog, which were good. The guys who run this place are so nice. He even let me keep a few oyster shells to take home for the kids to use in their crafts! Lots of tables, bar seating, and a corner full of board games and such.
