They also have a super fun selection of food and what goes better with alcohol? They have a huge cheese and antipasto selection, chips, and even pastas and sauces. Always used Bottle King in Ramsey for deliveries, but they changed their website in early March and it still isn't working. My cart is in place, but my profile had to be entered multiple times before it finally saved. Another problem - there is no way to schedule a delivery window - I can't wait around from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm as the new website states. Also, unable to finalize a payment. It keeps asking for my credit card information which has already been entered. Original website worked smoothly - this new one doesn't work AT ALL. read more

Went in to get cases of beer saw the advertised price on shelf when we went up to cashier She informed us that none of the advertised prices are valid due to rising costs. She was very nice but we asked to speak to the manager . His name was sam He could not have been more nasty When we told him, then we didn't want that 1 And would get a different case for variety. He said so go back and put that case back and get a different case. When we asked, how come all the sale prices are still up if they're not valid He walked away. It's obvious when people hate their jobs he should probably find another line of work or the company should find a replacement. Thank you for your response . Great customer service! After getting no help at the Wayne location, I went to Ramsey, looking for a certain wine. They were out but a gentleman ( wish I could remember his name) working there went looking for me and filled out a special order form. He contacted me quickly. He had researched it and the wine is rebranding . He found a few bottles at another location and thanks to him I now have the last few bottles of my favorite wine. Really above and beyond! read more

Stopped in to check out anything new (to me) in bourbons. Picked up Blanton's Single BBL Bourbon. Awesome selection and most competitive prices. Many, many more choices than listed on their online website...who knows why website is incomplete? I return to Ramsey BK whenever in area. This is NJ so this is complete liquor store with beer, wine and booze...plus selection of cheeses. Fast check out with many checkout lanes usually open. Tips: * Use BK Club Card for best prices and real savings. They will look up your name at the register even if you don't have it on you. * Not all BK locations are identical in size or inventory...they fit into the space they've leased. Recommend Ramsey BK and its larger selection if you're are looking for the harder-to-find stuff: wines, Irish or Bourbon whiskey, etc. * On Highway 17 North...easy to miss. We came in as visitors from out of state. Not much help on the floor to assist in locating what we wanted. "Over there " was the extent of customer service. When we checked out the pierced princess couldn't answer a question about product and then asked us to put in phone number. She said 'it's not coming up wanna try again?' So we told her we'd never been here and are from out of town. The wine rang up $4 more than the sale price and I asked her about it. She said that's what the phone number is for. Large selection of alcohol for a low price. This is probably the best Bottle King in the area. Prices are as low as they can get, and you can find almost everything here. Plus they have a section for cheese and other stuff that supposedly goes with wine. It's also right off route 17 so it's easy to get to. read more

I come to this Bottle King when I'm on my way home although there is one in my town. This one is almost a carbon copy of all the rest. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection of wine, liquor and beers. The cheese section nice as well. They have a wide selection of beers, wines, champagnes, sakes, hard liquors, cheeses, and crackers. Plus they have exclusive wines and "direct from vineyards" that severely cut down on costs for the consumer. I definitely recommend getting yourself a bottle King card so that you can get additionally discounts at checkout. There have only been two times that bottle King hasn't had my drink of choice: a Japanese sake and a South African Pinot. Other than that, Bottle King has supplied me with all my alcoholic needs. Bottle King has AMAZING prices and a huge selection on beer, liquor, and wine. A 1.75 liter bottle of Jack Daniel's sells for $38.99. It's usually $10 more anywhere else you go. They have some very rares wines, and some crazy cheeses. If you're in the area, this is definitely the place to go! The only downside is that the cashiers will randomly ask you to fill out a little card with your name, address, and driver's license number on it. This can take some time. I'm assuming this is an attempt to stop underage kids from purchasing alcohol but it doesn't go into a computer and isn't used to conduct an age check, so I'm not really sure what the sense of it is. read more

This particular Bottle King is a lot larger than the one I'm usually in here in Hillsdale. They have an excellent selection of wines, beers, and liquors. They do have some hard to find ales that I'm a fan of, but they are on top of their seasonal brews every step of the way. Excellent wine deals as any other Bottle King has, the staff is friendly and helpful if you're looking for something. On a side note, parking is a nightmare on a Friday night or Saturday night...and some Thursdays. It's located right off of the highway and Jersey drivers being what they are, it makes for an interesting time. If you can, go earlier in the day or earlier in the week! read more
