But when you advertise being open until 10pm on Friday, you shouldn't be locking your doors right in front of two separate customers that pulled up at 9:40, and not giving an explanation as to why. Probably not the best way to build customer loyalty, especially with a handful of other liquor stores in the area.

I think the biggest draw of this liquor store is the convenience. It's right on Route 9 and very easy to access. Not my first choice, but I'd definitely stop in again under the right circumstances.

The glass case is not easy to open, huge heavy door that doesn't slide well. Get a new case dude. That one is shot. THEN he tells me I can't go out the door I came in. Mind you, EPICALLY torrential rainstorm, and I'm parked next to the door I entered from. "Thats the entrance only, you have to use the exit door" which is on the other side of the building. What does it matter ? My phone just alerted me, national weather service alert type rain. The guy was rude. I feel I was being treated disrespectfully because I'm a woman. The place is a dive, bad florescent lighting, hasn't been painted since the 60s and it shows. Skip this place. They're rude and bizarre.

They have extensive varieties of craft, domestic & imported, beers as well as wines from all over the planet. There is even an enclosed wine room for oenophiles and the Aristocracy. Bottles start at $100 & up. I was looking for a Lambic to satisfy my sweet tooth and purchased two of those. If you don't see something, do ask the staff. Grab a shopping cart and delve. They give you cloth bags which you can re-use for when you go to BYO restaurants. Please note that they are required to ask you for proof of age, no matter how old you may be. Bring ID. SUGGESTION: have classes once a week to give your customers insight to various facets of alcoholic beverage knowledge.

I've been here twice and will never return. The first time…read morewas about two months ago, and there was a woman at the register. After looking at my ID, she told me I "looked better" in my picture than in real life. Rude and uncalled for. I don't know if she was trying to be funny, but it made me uncomfortable. The second time I went to this store was a few days ago. My family just relocated to the area, so this liquor store is much closer. My cashier was an older man (assuming this is Peter, who was mentioned in the most recent review). I am a woman in my early twenties, and I left feeling uncomfortable and angry. He called me "baby-face" with an almost flirty tone. When I showed him my ID, he read me my name and said we would "get along just fine" because he's had very good luck with women with my name. Talk about inappropriate. He then tried to show off his car to me through the security camera footage, mentioning (in a very creepy tone) that I was younger than the car he drives every day. Upon leaving, he smiled and said he hoped he would see me in the store soon and more frequently. It's worth the longer trip to go to any other liquor store.

The woman checking out in front me actually took up my defense and said "does he look like he can't afford it?" I guess she all thought it was rude and warranted a comment. Not the first or even the second time someone at the register has an attitude. We never even spoke a word so I don't know what provoked the guy but I genuinely think he just doesn't have manners or respect. Reminds me why I drive to circus wines or the less expensive places in red bank even though we live 6 blocks away.
