I had them paint ceilings for all rooms and walls for one room.. things that I really liked about them: - Very Punctual.. this may seem small but huge for me as I had strict deadlines for the work to be completed as I am putting my house on the market soon.. they showed up on time as per their communication.. he showed with 5 guys to make sure all the work is done in time.. - Very thorough about the work- they weren't cutting any corners to finish work quickly. They made sure it's done right - Quality of paint and other materials they used were of top quality - cleaning up - they cleaned up very well and you won't realize that these folks were in completing this work.. - extra miling - I had an issue with my kitchen ceiling, for some reason one section showed uneven paint and didn't look fine.. I expressed my concern.. he came the next day re-did that part of the ceiling... even the second time it didn't come out right... Very Impressed with Gold Painting, and their entire team. They put the customer first, and I would…read morehire them again. I selected Gold Painting after receiving 8+ proposals from other painting contractors to paint the exterior of my large colonial in Concord MA, and all windows, mullions etc., as well as some necessary repairs for the job. I compared 'apples to apples' and Gold had the BEST proposal for the same scope of work. Very reasonable! The communications were Excellent, and when I had questions Alex Silveira responded right away via email or text. I asked as many questions as I could to be sure we were all on the same page. They provided proof of insurance both workmen's comp and liability to me as well. They also waranteed their work. Their crew was well supervised throughout, and no matter what I asked them to look at or address, or go over, they did it. I had no idea if I was too picky as I never did a paint job alone before, but they were great. I saw a few things even after they were paid and off the job, and they came back right away. Gold Painting excelled in every way, and stood behind their work. They felt like family by the time they were done, and I would hire them again. Also, watch out for the large paint contractors that only use subs. A small family business cares more about their reputation, and professionalism.

He gave original price then admittedly used a different formula 2 days later to come up with increase. Workmanship was less than mediocre, left a terrible mess on hardwood floors, molding, doorway and window trim. He doesn't tape any woodwork or use drop cloths. Paint was left throughout the house. LAZY at best! Painted around outlets and light switches without removing covers, didn't paint the entire walls above cabinets, only what would be seen, does not do any spackling or sanding. Paints over any bumps on wall without smoothing out. All the light switches and outlets are "boxed" from them using a paint brush instead of a roller (because they didn't remove covers). Was asked by guest if we had our 8 year olds paint for us! Honestly they would have done a better job. He's a scam artist, rip off and by no way shape or form a 'painter'...unless you are in need of a finger paints! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!
