I stopped in to hunt for a Valentine's Day gift and was immediately met with a bewildering number of choices. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and end up contemplating an entire lifestyle upgrade. Their selection of greeting cards is easily the best in the area--actually witty, high-quality stuff that doesn't feel like a grocery store afterthought. What really makes this spot a gem is their support for the community. I managed to score a fantastic Valentine's piece from a local artisan, which beats a generic box of chocolates any day. Whether you're looking for fine crystal, unique jewelry, or quirky home decor, the variety is genuinely impressive. The service was top-notch--helpful without hovering--and you can't beat the ideal location right in the heart of downtown. It's a local institution for a reason.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this local gem of a gift shop! We were in a real bind --…read moreI had completely underestimated how long it takes to get a gift basket delivered (apparently about a week!), and I realized far too late that we needed something ready before visiting a client. To make matters more complicated, the basket was meant for a group in an office setting, and while the shop offered gourmet baskets with locally sourced items, they didn't have quite the right mix of items on hand for that kind of crowd. But instead of turning us away, they stepped in with creativity, flexibility, and genuine kindness. We brought in items we thought would work, including some company promotional items, and they beautifully arranged everything into three polished, professional gift bins that looked like they had been planned weeks in advance. They truly saved the day. Their willingness to help, attention to detail, and can-do attitude made all the difference. It's rare to find a business so committed to making things work for their customers. We're incredibly grateful and we'll absolutely be back. Thank you for going above and beyond!

While doing my holiday shopping, I wanted to be mindful of the products I purchased this year and intentional in my gift giving. I also wanted to support other local small businesses. The Store Next Door has products that are mainly made in The North Bay area and all of the products are made by small businesses across the United States. I loved knowing that I am supporting small businesses that have been hit hard by Covid and our current economy. They have all kinds of unique gifts such as food and beverages, jewelry, bath and body products, totes, charcuterie boards and cutting boards, items for your home, great gifts for kids, and so much more! Whether you are getting a gift for yourself to treat yourself or giving a gift to a loved one, this place is a great place to shop. It has lots of items if you are looking for a birthday gift, a gift for a child, a house warming gift, and so much more! I will definitely be coming back to this store! I left with some items as gifts and bath salts for myself.

There is a ton of unique Snoopy and Peanuts merch that I have never seen anywhere else. And surprisingly, it was not super over priced. In fact, there are several sale racks that had amazing deals on shirts and pajamas. A lot of the holiday merch was also on sale. The staff is great. You can tell they are all super Peanut fans. Don't miss the upstairs area. There is no merch up there, but there are a bunch of things to look at, including a lego replica of the ice rink. The stain glass snoopy windows...just so much. We actually went to this gift shop twice on our trip. Did most of the shopping damage when we went to the museum and then the day we were flying home, we went again first thing in the morning for all those..."I decided I need it" items. The front of the store is also the Ice Rinks pro shop, so if you are looking for ice skating gear, they have that too.
