They have a large range of magazines which is probably one of the biggest in Truro and often have the magazines that other newsagents are sold out of. The drinks and snacks are quite cheap in comparison to some of the other newsagents in Truro. I would recommend Tremlett's over most of the other newsagents in Truro due to it's wide selction of newspapers and magazines, and it's cheap snacks.

Go and talk to them as they read everything that comes out. In just a few minutes with me, my wife and my son, all book lovers, they have opened up a whole new world of books with new authors and new genres. They order in anything they haven't got and take the time to keep an eye out for you with what is happening. It's the only non internet store I use as their personal service cannot be replaced. It's really pushed me out of my comfort zone.

It is an off license, with an excellent variety of wines and beers. Not a huge selection, but all good stuff. Whiskey's, vodka's and so on are also available, cigarettes, the National Lottery (with fast-pay technology), and also a video rental section. Fresh fruit and vegetables, tins, bread, frozen meals, milk, batteries, paracetamol, chocolate, coal, firewood, and of course, newspapers and magazines. Everything you need under one roof, how they fit it all in the small place I don't know!

The shop is quite small so it can be quite difficult to move around. At the front are the gadgets but towards the back there are internet terminals which can be used for a price. I have never seen anyone use these when I have been in there. Gadget World seem to be good for small, fun gifts but it is unlikely you will find something to buy for yourself in here. I do recommend Gadget World although it is a bit out of the way to get to.

The duchy nursery has recently done up their shop and cafe which look over the nursery and the valley below. The cafe offers a selection of sandwiches, hot meals and cakes. The cream tea was delicious with plenty of jam and clotted cream ratio to the scone and lots of tea. The cafe also provides excel by coffee and cake. The duchy is definitely my current favourite place for a cream tea when returning home and is in a lovely location. A final quick tip for any visitors, the duchy is up a cornish lane, once you've gone past the golf club, keep going and you'll find it.
