Within a day of getting my car back, the stabilitrak light was back at it as I was on the highway and when they picked up the car a few hours later he gave me some story about the cars engine having been power washed and the spark plug cover was washed off. Within that same week of getting my car back, I was nearly smashed by an Amazon truck right by estoy 18 on I95Non my way, coincidentally, to the shop to thank them for their work. The stabilitrak light kept flashing, the car started to choke then it stopped moving although it was on. I left the car with them and a few days later he assured me everything was 10000% A-ok. About 2-3 weeks later, the stabilitrak light starts beeping and flickering again. When I reached out yet again, he assured me it was simply a misfire and all was ok. Upon meeting Chris, I explained to him this is what would happen prior to me taking the car to him and the car had left me stranded with my toddler and I needed to be sure the car wouldn't do that again otherwise I'd take the loss rather then invest the near $11GRAND I paid him- not to mention I also paid for new brakes and it has come to light that he didn't even change my brakes at that, which leaves me to wonder what else he did not fix all though I made sure to have my payment in full to him because of his reassurances. I even sent business his way because of how kind he was. I have called and texted several times over the last few weeks and apparently he has blocked me because it goes straight to voicemail and the bubbles went from blue to green. The stabilitrak light continues to light up, and the car begins to "jerk" among a slew of other things. I share all of this to say, it's a hot Sunday, we were trying to celebrate my daughter's birthday and the stabilitrak light pops up, it says to turn off the AC- which isn't even on, and now I'm on the side of the road in a situation I specifically ask he not place me in by being honest and saying he didn't know if he could fix the car- with my child!!!! Poor service/workmanship and port etiquette in customer service don't even cover what this is. Shame on you Chris for speaking so poorly of other mechanics and shop owners about letting their egos get in the way of quality customer service and honesty when you are EXACTLY like them! Be it because I was a woman, your ego, or privilege- you are a crook!

He seemed annoyed from the beginning like he didn't want to help me. He briefly looked at my tires and said yes they need replacement. When I asked him about a specific model tire I saw online he said thats strictly online and I would have to order them myself. I asked him if he could help order them and set up an appointment time. He quickly dismissed me and said no that's only online and there's nothing he could do. I went to the Mamaroneck location and the staff was much more helpful. They helped me set up the appointment and helped me order the tires I wanted. I don't think I'll be visiting this location any longer.

Let me take a moment to reintroduce these guys for anyone NOT in the know. Don't waste your time anywhere else. GO HERE. Period! As for my personal experience, I had a truly frustrating situation that I had unknowingly been dealing with, and after purchasing a brand new tire...low and behold it was in fact NOT my tire...but my wheel / rim. Let me be clear by stating that the tire purchase was not through this shop. However, After a long search, calls, emails yadda yadda yadda I finally landed on Proformance Industries right here in New Rochelle; which transitioned into an email, and later a phone call. The nature of this review is to really expand and un-wrap the true definition of not only professionalism, but a true auto-shop experience, you know, like your grandad or pop took you to?! Yea, you know that spot. Well, as for me this was exactly that. After literally 1 phone call I was able to take notice of the very easiness, family nature that these guys embody, and that Mario exemplified as he took his time to explain, answer all my questions, and not rush through what would be to some as just another phone call. Fast forward to today, where I was not only able to get an immediate / same day reservation to take a look at the problem, which was a cracked rim on my 328i x-drive, but a SAME DAY fix. The seemingly easy transition for these guys to assess the actual damage, come up with a solution, show me the issue, and come up with a more than reasonable cost was a true breath of fresh air to put it lightly. To put this very lightly, I was in and out of the shop in about an hour, WITH my wheel / rim fixed, and ZERO HEADACHE! Might I also add that they took the time to go through everything, and even gave me a better rate than initially anticipated. Overall, GO SEE MY BOY MARIO!
