My friend was visiting from out of town and we decided to go to BP for lunch. It was Sunday and not very busy at all. There were many at the bar though. We both had wings which were good but not great. However, my friend had the Tropical Slush Margarita. It was well presented, looked great and she said it tasted great too. The server was nice and everything was clean. We also had the chocolate explosion cake to-go as we were pressed for time. We ate it at home and it probably was a meal unto itself. It was very rich with different moist cake & non cake textures. It is now One of my favourite deserts at a restaurant. I have tried the cookie before but did not like it nearly as much as the chocolate explosion cake. Overall I would go again to try another main, but not my top rated restaurant in town. read more

First off I would just like to say the food here is amazing!!! The service was pretty good and waiter was super nice and brought us boxes without us even asking! Also when my kids ask for some extra mints to take home the lady at the front dest gave us a whole hand full of them there was about 18! The over all vibes of the place were very relaxing. we visit Boston Pizza approximately twice per month, last 2 visits, food great, service horrible, bring food, no return for refills or dessert options and had to wait for bill. hardly saw a server. today, thought we'd give another try, no one at counter, waited to be seated as per sign, no one comes, dining side completely empty, we left after a few minutes and won't be returning. I really like this place. I've tried several Boston Pizzas in travels across Ontario and always had a good experience. This was no exception. Service was very good, and all our meals were enjoyable and true to what we ordered. I had the spaghetti with sausage and the sauce was outstanding. There was plenty of sausage too and it tasted great. I was passing through but also looks like a great place to watch a ball game and kick back in their bar. I definitely hope to return soon. read more

3.5 stars, if only I could. That was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time! Tasty and juicy, and it wasn't over the top with unsual toppings. The butter chicken pasta I sampled was a bit spicier than I'm able to handle. One spice in particular, perhaps the curry, unfortunately overwhelmed the rest of the dish. Half a star taken off tonight because of the slow service. They were friendly enough, but it was the small things that chipoed away at extra stars for so late in the evening. We were a large group, but didn't get there until 8:00pm. There wasn't enough cutlery laid out for everyone, and none was brought out for the one person who asked for some. It's not so bad for pizza which you can eat with your fingers; salad and pasta are a little more challenging. read more

I wrote a review for this place the first time I went, but I have to change it. Don't get me wrong - the food here is GREAT but it's way overpriced. My fiancé and I started coming here for half price apps after 9pm on Sunday's to watch football this season. Our third time there we got the same menu we always do and we ordered and ate. When we got the bill it was outrageous for what they call their "Appy Hour". The wings (sampler size - tiny wings) were almost $9 and potato skins were almost $10. It just didn't add up - that's expensive for regular price! So I asked my waiter and he seemed confused. Then someone (I assume the manager) came over and informed us that the prices had changed and he hadn't told literally the only guy working in the bar that night. Then he said he would give me a discount, but it was a random discount and I'm almost 100% sure it wasn't even close to what I would have paid if I paid the old prices. The service, I might add, isn't great. The server we normally get is really slow and will walk past you 5 times while you're waiting to order. He doesn't even usually stop when you make eye contact. I get he's busy but at 9pm there aren't a lot of people around. So not only did they not update their menus or inform their staff of changes, but their "Appy Hour" is ridiculously priced and not worth it at all. Slow service and vulgar staff. Bartender was extremely rude to children and wives in our party. Manager removed him then was insulting to our whole party. Go to one of the many restaurants nearby. Went to Montana's a couple of hundred of meters away for lunch and was much better. My first yelp review but was so disappointed in this location I had to comment. Normally like BP but give this one a miss. Local drunks at bar are more important to manager than other patrons. Wish you could give zero stars!! read more

Don't eat here. Bartender, Manager and owner are completely inept and felt it was appropriate to yell at our kids across the bar for being noisy and refused to serve them the dessert that we had paid for because they were "fooling around" our kids were also told to grab their coats and get out. What kind of place is this? They are happy to take our money but can't give decent service. No apology from any management either. This place is a joke. Don't eat here. read more

I have say, it is disappointing to read these few reviews on here from years ago. My family and I recently went to this BP and experienced nothing like this at all. The atmosphere was not too noisy on the sit down side. The bar has some noise but it is a sports bar after all. Boston Pizza has that atmosphere. The sit down side on the other side of the restaurant is not that noisy at all. the TV's are on but no sound from them. It was not too busy but there were other people there. The server came over almost right away and was very cheerful with us and very sweet to our children. She was very quick with everything we ordered, (the cheese bread with dip was very good), even though she had other tables. The food came out very quickly and was delicious and exactly what we ordered. the kids meals are awesome here with lots to choose from and yummy desserts. My son loved the worms and dirt.. The "grown-up" desserts had nice choices as well. We took our servers recommendation and tried the panookie. WOW. it smelled and tasted amazing. great for sharing. Over all we had a very good experience. From the other comments here they have gotten better over the last few years and I just had to write something. read more
