I was finally able to go back to Boston Pizza in Whitehorse recently. It is still as amazing as ever. The food was fantastic the service was remarkable. My server Anna was very friendly and approachable. She made sure we had a really amazing experience. We enjoyed our pizzas and didn't leave hungry that's for sure. A BP is a BP is a BP. I have said that more than once. The food is standardized and usually fairly good, so BP rating is based more on service than anything. This honestly wasn't great. Took awhile to get an order taken and saw a couple tables wonder where the waitress was. Of course BP food is good and the buffalo mac and cheese was good. Most of the 3 stars comes from that. Poor service and fast food with little care for customer- we waited 30 minutes to be seated while people came and went with half a dozen or more wide open tables. Possibly the worst service I have ever gotten Boston Pizza which is just sad we came in at 2:15 p.m. and there were only two tables taking in the whole restaurant it took almost 15 minutes to be seated then we ask for no tomatoes and got tomatoes got the cucumbers on the side we got that our empty glasses of water were waiting for over a half an hour and never got filled and our cactus cut potatoes were burnt and we got no bread with our pasta. I have gone to the BP in Whitehorse for years and overall the food and service is pretty good. I have found the food to be inconsistent and this is disappointing - generally the pasta is a win, however this time we ordered spaghetti and meat balls and the plate of spaghetti had exactly 2 meat balls on it - mostly sauce and overcooked noodles. It was cheap and disappointing - even their picture shows more meatballs - but this is an example of the inconsistence. I also feel that the menu prices on drinks (non-alcoholic) have gotten a bit to high - I wish they would put a cap on that. However the restaurant is clean and there is plenty of space options for a larger group. read more

My husband and I ordered pasta with meat bolognese. We were extremely disappointed. The sauce was thin and we had trouble finding the meat. As well, the plate of my husband's was covered with grease. My family and I were visiting the area and we decided to eat here one night. It was amazing. The service was very quick and personal. Our server Anjali was extremely attentive. Our drinks were never empty. We shared some Cactus Cut Potatoes as an appetizer. I had the Steak Sandwich and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. My wife had the Great White North pizza with cauliflower crust. I was impressed how good it tasted. My daughter had the Jambalaya Fettuccine. It was so flavorful. My son had the Boston-Sized Burger. My friends and I wanted to go to Boston Pizza for dinner but when we were told to get our vaccine passports out. They asked for pictur ID which the two of us with driver's licenses were fine but because two of our friends are under 18 and didn't have their drivers license we were not all to eat there. The only problem I have with this is that you can't ask people under 18 for photo ID and if you do you have to except the fact that they might not have it because of their age. I don't recommend anyone go here as long as vaccine passports are a mandatory thing es if you have kids or are under 18. read more

This is my favourite place to watch sports games! Canada was unfortunately out of the finals for the World Juniors this year so I had to root for Finland against the US of A. Stephan went the extra mile by cleaning the table we wanted to watch the game on the big screen which was the best table in the restaurant! Kiesha was our server tonight which highlighted the night! Beer was always cold and glass was always full! She always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! In general Stephan and Keisha are awesome, as a regular I know I'm going to be well taken care of if these two are on shift! read more

I saw the previous review and thought I should respond - particularly with regards to the Fort Nelson BP. We drive the highway a couple of times a year and have slipped into the routine of going to BP for dinner. It isn't fine dining. Look out the window, consider where you are. This isn't Paris or Barcelona or London. It is the middle of damn near no-where and when we arrive from Edmonton or Whitehorse we are thrilled to see it! Do not go here. On our visit, no mashed potatoes, no garlic toast, substitute fries were cardboard. And they don't tell you until after your order has been in for five minutes. I love my pizza and this was the first Yukon pizza that I had some years back. It was very sub-par back then and the service was slow. I tried it again last month and while they had fantastic appetizers, the entree's were inedible. I wanted to give it a higher rating as the staff and management were very apologetic about the food quality and did write off our meal ticket, but this is a food review and I cannot recommend a restaurant that merely has good customer service. read more
