The main turn off of me is the donairs are not as good as they used to be. I ate at the old restaurant a few years back and it was the highlight of my trip through Whitehorse l. Second time here and both times it was great. The place has a hip vibe to it. Not a bar but not a family place, somewhere in between but where everyone is welcome. Just a really fun vibe. The service is fast and friendly. It could be bigger though, needs more seating! The menu isnt massive BUT it is good. We had poutine and a bowl and they were both great. Some fun looking drinks if someone wanted to sit down and try them! Even price isnt bad, worth trying!! read more

The shawarma poutine was absolutely the bomb... though, honestly, I think that it would have been nice to substitute the white sauce on top for tahini sauce, though I did only order through DoorDash so I didn't get to experience their service or ambiance. But I will say, their portions are ginormous. I seriously got a regular sized poutine shawarma and it was HUGE. If it weren't poutine (and thus, had fries), I could have eaten this for days. read more

We were passing through Whitehorse and wanted a quick, tasty affordable meal. Based on other reviews I decided to check these guys out. I had the original and Hubby had the Mexican, oh - and the schwarma poutine, and beers. The original was great but I wasn't a super fan of the sweeter sauce. Hubby loved the Mexican. the poutine was AMAZING!! I ordered the Greek to go and ate it the next day and it was delicious We will definitely eat there again the next time we are in Whitehorse!! We were so pleasantly surprised by the food here. Really had the feeling of an authentic donair place. Excellent salads, great service, delicious fries. On further reflection all my bites were delicious. So. I'd recommend it if you have one place to go if you are in white horse for one night. Eat here. They do have a dining room. But you can also grab and go. The service is fast. The locals are colorful. It's entertaining. And I wanted to buy and eat one of everything so I'll have to return. And they have beer ! read more

I am giving it 5 stars for service, atmosphere and food quality. The selection for vegans is limited but the falafels are pretty tasty and filling. They offer hummus and siracha for vegan sauces. Was hoping for tahini but it was still yummy with just the hummus. The decor is nice and fits well with the Yukon. Everyone working was really nice. Price is a bit high but low compared to most restaurants here. There's also a beautiful patio for outside dining. A+ read more

Visited this wonderful restaurant in May 2022. It smelled SO good the minute we walked in. I had never had a Donair before and was expecting a gyro of sorts. It was much better than a boring gyro! The spices and meat were so tasty! My better half had a Greek salad which was wonderful as well. The freshness along with the spices can't be beat. Super friendly staff and quaint furnishings added to the experience. read more

First trip to the Arctic so glad we found listings here! Day 1.5 into our trip in Whitehorse. We needed to eat as it was late Sun. Night after spending most of the evening at Yukon Arts Centre for the Opening Gala of Available Light Film Festival (ALFF). Shane Koyczan's Shut Up and Say Something was outstanding! Anyways, checked yelp and noticed no times were listed for food places. 506 All Day Grill was closed at 9! I guess it's day only. Found BBD and called them and they were still open. We lucked out! Delicious donairs! Loved their sauces and the hot sauce I had to my East Coast donair! All cooked to perfection! Get the large as it's only $2 more and you get almost double the meat! Had about half and finished the rest for breakfast the next day! Everything is abit pricier North of 60! Tasted so good both days! Also, mint cucumber infused water was a nice touch! We're in Dawson City now but we're craving BBDs! We'll be back in a week! Thanks! read more

My ultimate go to food...stressed day at work, did an epic Yukon adventure, it doesn't matter, the shwarma Poutine is incredible!

The portions were meagre and the wrap was so stale I could barely tear through it with my teeth. The line cook also added about four times too much sauce without checking with me first. I almost left it but I was in a rush and didn't have time to go anywhere else so I persevered and ate it although it wasn't very good. Most importantly, I watched the line cook put on gloves and then handle a big bulk bottle of peppers. He donned gloves to open the lid of the bottle, take the peppers out and then after deciding he had added too many he put a few back into the same bulk bottle after they had touched the chicken on my shawarma. He then use the same gloves to handle a sauce bottle before putting on tomatoes and lettuce. I'm now lying here in my bed at 3:30 AM with food poisoning - horrible stomach ache and diarrhea. Really regret that I didn't just leave it uneaten on my plate. As soon as I finish this review I'm going to look up the food safety authority and file a formal complaint. read more

This was great for our group since we have a vegetarian and she was able to do falafel while others gorged on the meat options. Word to the wise--hungry guys need a large! Go-to spot for quick takeout :) I usually get the falafel but ONLY when they're super well done. They're consistently undercooked and mushy otherwise, and have been since they opened. I ask for them "almost burnt" and the middles are cooked properly then. Everything else on the menu is great and a good bang for your buck. The rewards program is also awesome! read more

It's a busy place but the wait is never too long. It's my favourite place to eat in Whitehorse!
