I had lunch today at Boston Pizza. I ordered what I always order from Boston Pizza ... the Broken Lasagna, with no onions or parm. I've ordered this dish a few times in various Boston Pizzas and they are never consistent. The plates are different, the portions aren't the same, etc. It was good. There was lots of spicy Italian sausage, especially in one corner, and ground beef ... but I didn't come across any bacon. Jessica was my server. She was professional and efficient. read more

This may well be the slowest service we have ever experienced in a chain restaurant. Myself and my two young daughters arrived 45 minutes ago and we haven't seen our lunch yet. It was a whole 30 minutes before they even took our order and I'm only guessing it will be another half hour to get our food. Luckily we are not in a hurry, but if you are, give this place a miss for sure!! Argh. read more

Ordered onion rings that were cooked from frozen and I have been sitting here for 1 hour and still waiting for my salad without even a heads up from the waitress. Unacceptable! Update: After finally getting our meals I figured out that by the time you get served you are to hungry to complain about the quality of the food! I've been in BP'S feom Vancouver to St.John and I have to agree with the locals that say this is a good one. Kitchen know how's to cook. Beer was cold, waitress was great, food was perfect. I can't ever remember being asked by any place if I wanted the wings baked or fried or breaded or non breaded. Wow - You mean I get a choice? These wings came perfect. Pasta Tuesday at Boston Pizza! 11.99 for gourmet pasta! I decided to get the standard meatball and spaghetti. I forgot how big this dish was. The meatball was very good, lots of flavour and was the perfect amount for this dish. The pasta was a bit soft and the sauce was a bit bland. Overall, decent meal for the price. This location was a bit quiet and the server was nice but did not come too often to help me out. I believe this is the only BP in Saint John. Id come again as BP has a good menu and food is not too bad. read more

I never ever make posts like these but my mom bought 4 combos of steak potatoes and salads from Boston pizza. They over charged her 3 times the amount the debit said approved the first time and they said it didn't go through so she did it again, so she just thought to check her bank account and had to fight too show them proof to get her money back and the same thing happened to the man behind her... they went on to say there debit must be broke and reimbursed her but for the inconvenience they gave her a chocolate bar, just to get home for me to pull a blonde hair out of my ranch and not to complain but I usually get my steak well done but my mom said medium rare and it was basically burnt more then we'll done in my opinion I think you'd agree ... if she didn't catch that do you think they would go out of there way to tell her they basically almost stole her money ... now think about all the people sitting at the bar all night . This time at Boston Pizza it was A1. The service was standard .. not above and beyond, just no errors . I also had to ask for my scratch ticket number or whatever for the Molson Canadian promo ( buy food and a drink to enter numbers in a draft or something) which she wasn't aware of .. I believe waiters/waitresses should be aware of all promos... Sat in dining room . No coat hangers on booths by kitchen lol.. lights are very bright too (over table) .. felt like I was in the spotlight or in interrogation . Other than that , food was delicious and didn't taste ordinary as usual.. the beer was fantastic (fresh) . The open concept and high ceilings is a feeling of high end , and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch . Had the spinach dip (nice little treat , quality over quantity imo. Off the highway, strip mall city, a stones throw from the Best Western I was staying in = I didn't expect much. Also, i'm from Boston and just thought it was funny to go to a place called "Boston Pizza" in Canada. Actually, I was quite pleased. The kale caesar salad was fantastic. My 11 year old son had 2 large helpings of it. The sriracha chicken pizza and spaghetti and meatballs exceeded expectations. Service was great. Given the circumstances I have nothing but good things to say. If you're in the vicinity and need something good and quick this is solid. read more

Went out to dinner with the boys tonight and had the absolute worst service/dinner ever. We got there and there was about a 10-15 minute wait, which was okay because it's a Friday night, we figured as much, but looking around we saw that more than half the tables were empty. We wound up being sat in a booth and spoke to our waitress and got our drinks, after sitting and talking amongst ourselves about what we wanted a random waitress walked by a just dumped cutlery and napkins in a pile and walked away (which was odd and not okay in my opinion). After we got our drinks (which were watered down and tasted like city water) we placed our orders for our starters and main meals. Both of our starters (Pizzaburger sliders and Calamari) were very bland with little to no taste, they only tasted good smothered in the sauces that they came with. Then came out main meals, which were mediocre at best. I had a small pizza that tasted like spicy sauce on cardboard, when I took a bite I was either overwhelmed with the taste of the gross dough or the sausage on it. Sam got a cheeseburger that he said all he could taste was the cheese on it, it absolutely over powered everything else, and a small hand full of what seemed to be cold fries. Thomas had a pulled pork sandwich that was in a similar state. We were all rather disgruntled and pushed our plates away (I toughed it out, ate half the pizza, cause I paid for it, Sam did the same with his burger and fries, and Tom aswell) we then waited for 20 minutes for someone to come ask us if we were done (the manager) to which we said yes, and I asked for the rest of the pizza to be packed up. We then waited another 20-25 minutes for someone to come and give us the check (which Sam and I split down the middle) the grand total coming out to be around 84 dollars. I never received my left overs and we were just kind of ignored all night. It was by far one of the worse experiences I've had as a paying customer ) and I will not be returning. read more

We are visiting from California and wanted a quick dinner. We liked the look of the Boston Pizza building and went in, not expecting too much. We were surprised and very pleased. Jessica was a very busy server, but managed to take care of us and her other responsibilities easily. We over ordered, but ate most of it. We decided to order starter Caesar salads for each of us and one small Hawaiian pizza to split. We were surprised at the size of the "starter" salads and they were prepared well, romaine crisp and fresh and dressing very good. Lots of croutons and cheese. We expected smaller ones since they were called "starter". The pizza was the best part and there was enough to take a couple of slices home for later. My favorite part was the crust. I am picky about my crust and usually order thin crust because frequently the flavor is all in the toppings and the crust is meh!. But this crust had a lovely chew to it and a very nice flavor.
