I ordered the Scoglio again because it was so memorable the first time, and it was just as amazing. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the pasta was fresh, and the flavors were outstanding. The staff made my birthday feel special with complimentary champagne, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed. Italian by Night continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Saint John. We can't wait to come back!

Vivaldi's is awesome!…read more Loved the interior of this restaurant as it looks so classy! Don't let those gorgeous looks fool you though, as Vivaldi's is down to earth and a casual place to bring family and friends. They do have Italian food, and while influential composer Antonio Vivaldi was Italian, the overarching theme here is Lebanese-Italian fusion. My friend ordered a shrimp rice dish with veggies and I ordered the seafood platter which came with roasted potatoes. A free app of delicious home made bread along with oil and vinegar to swipe was provided. Everything was fantastic! The seafood tasted fresh and everything came to our table hot and tasty. It's a great spot to take selfies and family photos so remember to bring your camera and ask the server to snap a few for you. Our service was stellar and we could not have had a better experience overall. To top things off, we ordered dessert, German chocolate cake which was comped for us because "it was our first time at Vivaldi's". Now that's a good way to win friends and influence people! The bill for two of us was only $70! Although we didn't indulge in drinks, that still is an amazing price for an enjoyable night out with incredible service. Cheers to Vivaldi's!

I liked how it was private from the rest of the restaurant. The servers were attentive and the food came out very quickly after ordered. I had the spanikopita and the pork in a pita platter. The spanikopita was 4 triangle pieces and it was tasty. I liked that the spinach wasn't overpowered by the cheese and the phyllo was nice and crispy. The pita had lots of pork pieces and ample vegetables for a good combination. I ordered it with a baked potato and they had generous portions of butter and sour cream on the side. Both of these items was around $17, not bad for appetizer and main course. Others in our party order lasagna, which I heard was good, steak with vegetables, and pizza which I tried a few bites. The crust was good and it had lots of toppings. There were a few minor glitches but nothing major. We were also able to use a coupon we received from the hotel and received 15% off the bill. The meal and service were great and I would definitely be back to try more food.

So perhaps no wait staff on that side for a group our size. But certainly not a table Issue. Sat in a booth by a hostess on the dining room side. And then ignored for 10+ minutes. An apology for not getting to us sooner and or order was taken. They did not appear to be super busy. A few tables occupied and at least 4 wait staff on shift. Our meals arrived in groups of one or two plates. A cheeseburger that our granddaughter could bite through because it was hard as a rock. This was resolved by the waitress bringing a fresh bun to the table in her hand and suggesting we just move the pattie to the new bun and she should be able to eat it that way. My wife revived her meal minus the side she ordered which never did show up any where except on the bill. They completely missed the meal ordered by our grandson. And was brought out 10 minutes or so after everyone else began eating. I submitted this information to management when I got home.
