It takes them a while to make one of these maybe because it's so thick anyhow it was ready when they told me it would be. It's such a thick crusted pizza. It just doesn't seem to have as much flavour as it should. The sauce doesn't stand out. And it's just sort of blah with all those toppings. But hey, people in the area seem to love it. This place has been open since 1969. $37.90 for a 9" pizza seems pretty high. But it does weigh a lot. So if you look at per lbs it's likely a great deal.

I think salad is the only veggie item and no fried zucchini sticks or mushrooms. Next time I'd like to try their pressure-fried chicken that they also specialize in - something with "chicken house" in its name has to be good, right?

After sharing most of an XL with a good pal and calling it a night, we both reconciled with the porcelain gods the following morning.
