IT IS A STEAKHOUSE THAT DOES NOT HAVE STEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more Really? Arrived at the restaurant after a quick read of the menu online. Assumed that a steakhouse would have steak - so I only skimmed the menu for lasagna. My husband wanted steak - no brainer - it's a steakhouse right? OH NO - "How do you call yourself a steak house and have NO STEAK!!!" But it gets better, we were given a 35 minute wait time, which is fine, but in reality it was 55 minutes. Fine Get the brown bags back to the hotel - no napkins- no cutlery - no salt and pepper. A steakhouse with no steak?

Went there on November 16th 2019, it was my cheating day, so I went for buffet. I also ordered some…read morecalamari on the side. The pizza in the buffet are very good, cheese are high quality, ingredients are fresh, the crust cook just right, not too dry but fully cooked. All the sauce in the pizza taste like made in that hour, seasoned well and you just know it is house made not in a can like most pizza buffet. The desert pizza was something I never had but loved the first bite. perfect pizza dough with fruit filling. Those fruit filling are either house made or some super great quality fillings, they are not too sweet but very fruity and had a nice consistency. The salad bar has some good vegetables and pasta salad, pickles, olives and such, everything was fresh and really well seasoned like the pizzas. The soup was an other high light, beef and barley soup has more beef than most beef stew you can find in other restaurant, the French onion soup was as good as some thing you would order by itself. The calamari was nice, crispy outside and tender inside, nice dipping sauce, thin and well spiced batter, beautiful colour. The calamari itself is as fresh as you can get in Alberta. The only down side I will say about the buffet would be lacking of any other things other than pizza, soup and could salad, some cheese and crackers or appetizers would be a great addition, but that being said, I am happy with what I got. Just not mind blowed by the selections has been offered. Quality over quantity, I'd rather have great things than a lot of things, but a lot of good things never hurt. I would pay more for more food, like deli meat or cheese. The staffs were friendly and helpful, environments are clean and welcoming. The interior was a bit dated but everything are so comfortable and clean so I really did not mind. The price was good, not cheap but still reasonable, two of us spend 50+ dollars with three dishes and buffets. I will suggest for family dinner and such.

We were greeted at the door by a friendly waitress and shown to a seat. We had just gotten our drinks when the singer started up and he was still playing after we'd eaten and were on our way home. My husband had a burrito bowl that disappeared pretty quickly. The flight of salsas and chips introduced us to 3 delightful salsas.

Fortunately, we'd walked past the Mexican Hat on the way, and decided to give it a go. What a great, welcoming staff and a very good chef. Our foursome ordered tacos al pastor, veggie tacos, and tacos alahombre. Each was served street-style, with great corn tortillas. Ordered beans and rice on the side..also excellent, along with the salsa bar! Atmosphere was perfect...earthy Mexican diner style and reasonable prices! We really enjoyed chatting with the staff. They are great people and need your patronage! Highly recommend. Go there!

The food is average nothing special for this Albertian Chinese restaurant…read more I won't said it's authentic Chinese food but I guess for Caucasians who never have authentic Chinese food this is good enough for them. My husband and I didn't go with the option of all you can eat which most most go there for because our gluten free diet so we order their menu. We ordered a egg fried rice without soy sauce/ beef chop suey and egg fu young. My husband liked the beef chop suey but we had it better at Calgary or Vancouver BC. I won't mind to come back again but I just think the not so authentic Chinese food for almost $15 a dish it's too much to pay for! I decided to give 3 stars because the server was kind and helpful also the food wasn't gross so I didn't give it 2 stars.

Disgusting. Egg rolls and deep fried shrimp have so much breading on them so that you have to dig…read morethe food out and peel away the breading. Rice was ok, but you definitely need soy sauce as it is relatively flavourless, but that's ok because it's easier to add sodium than take it away. Beef in the beef/vegetables was tasty, but the vegetables were very undercooked and too crisp. Almond chicken had a thinner coating of breading, but no flavour at all, especially no almond flavour. Had meals here 3-4 years ago, and don't remember it being this bad, but then again I've had American prepared Chinese food several times since, and it is far and away better than this stuff. Won't be back
