the food is absolutely amazing every time i go here no matter what i try! the staff is also super friendly and helpful & always have fast service even when its quite busy, which this location often is for good reason! the pizza has the best cheese & crust ive had from any chain ive gone to and the appetizers are also great - the calamari wasnt soggy or overcooked like many places struggle with and the macaroni and cheese is fantastic! good portions as well with great presentation. one of my go to places in the area for dinner :) free fountain drink refills is also a great bonus! read more

If your looking for some yam fries and you live in Castlegar, the one place I can tell you not to go is Boston Pizza. I was craving a big box of yam fries, so I ordered the biggest size. WhenI tell you there was 20 fries, I am being dead serious. Don't get me wrong the fries were very good but I would've needed to order 5 more boxes to have somewhat of what I was expecting. Food is usually good. The problem I have is every time I get something for pickup they always forget something. This time was the sauce that went with my Boston brute. Last time is was both the sauce for the brute and the cactus cut potato sauce. As a customer I pay for these things because they are considered extras but I feel ripped off because I never get them. I went into Boston Pizza, in Castlegar, with my grandson who was visiting from California. He is 24 years old. We ordered drinks with our meal but the only ID my grandson had was his passport. This was not acceptable according to the waitress and said 2 Forms of ID were needed. She checked with another staff member who said the same. I was shocked. A passport is sufficient ID to travel the world but not good enough for an alcoholic drink at Boston Pizza. REALLY????!!!!!! read more

Great pizza! Great service! Even better then the ones at home. I was thoroughly impressed at how fast everything came out. Everything tasted so fresh and my strawberry daiquiri was delicious perfect for a really hot summer day. Wow! Market spinach salad! Probably one of the most delicious salads I have ever eaten!! Definitely my new favorite thing at BP!! It's topped with oven-roasted mushrooms, marinated artichoke hearts, bacon and balsamic-roasted red onions. Finished with fresh tomatoes, crumbled feta and chopped egg. Mmmmmmm so good! I have eaten here many times and over the years it has had it's ups and downs. Last time I went it wasn't the greatest food but the service was great I noticed another reviewer had bad service.. He must have had someone on a bad day because my 75$ meal (which was a rather large order) was quite timely and I was paid great attention. Ordered a brioche bun spicy fried chicken burger, the bun was over toasted and dry, the fried chicken was so bad it tasted like leftover fried bits in a pan with hot sauce. Worse meal ever! Had the chicken Stromboli and it was ice cold inside. The waiter returned it to reheat it and brought back my 1/2 eaten salad. Returned my original Stromboli and it was still cold. Waiter ignored me for 1/2 an hour until he finally had to deal with me. Totally ignored my comment about the still cold meal. I sat with my coat on for another 20 minutes waiting for my bill. Despite my comments he totally ignored my poor service and lousy food. $23 dollars later and I had to cross the street to by a burger. A "9" oz glass of wine not a chance! Save you money. Even McDonalds blows this place out of the water unless you like prepared frozen food microwaved. Never again! I had to give it one star because of Yelp. It should be no stars! read more
