His religious beliefs and the iconography displayed throughout his office somehow comforts me. "I" ask him questions regarding religion, he has NEVER once brought it up himself. As he calmly relates his dogma (never preaches)I am struck by his assuredness and the attendant serenity. He does a complete medical assessment with me every appointment. He is both aware of and shares his opinion about all my medical diagnoses. Through the years I have had a few psychopharms. They are not a one size fits all. If you (or your boyfriend) feel as if he is enabling- then find another doctor. One review was angry because her boyfriend was an addict and Dr. Chris kept prescribing. Addicts are liars- besides scamming, its what they do best. Where does a Dr. Draw a line in the sand? Obviously, your boyfriend is reporting positivity with the meds. Why wouldn't he continue to prescribe? You say that you have reported it to Dr. Chris, who r you? You r not his mother, sister, grandmother, wife nor fiancée. "I" understand your concern but you r not the patient nor do you have any implied authority to register your complaint/concern. Talk to the family and ask them to step up. Back to Dr. Chris. I know people who have gone to him simply looking for a scrip. He was able to see through them. No scrip. Does any Dr. get it right every time? Of course not. I have experienced a wonderful Dr./patient relationship. I highly recommend him!

He is extremely thorough, caring, passionate about helping people and very easy to talk to. I always feel relieved after my sessions. Also have great therapist who has helped me through some very hard times and the front desk staff are all very helpful and friendly. Not sure about the poor reviews I have recommended this place to my friends and family, and if I could give higher than five stars, I would. Dr. Peculis is a top notch provider and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I begged them for days for an emergency apt due to sudden panic attacks, and it took them a week and constant nagging just to get anything approved. I then ask for a refill on my seroquel (it's not safe to miss doses) and i got no answer no matter what number i called. I end up calling the emergency line again, and they tell me the reason for the delay is because my psychiatrist quit A WEEK AGO. I'm sorry but that's extremely unprofessional for me to have to find that out on my own a whole week later. It was the most stressful two weeks ever. I immediately left for a new location.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
