I begged them for days for an emergency apt due to sudden panic attacks, and it took them a week and constant nagging just to get anything approved. I then ask for a refill on my seroquel (it's not safe to miss doses) and i got no answer no matter what number i called. I end up calling the emergency line again, and they tell me the reason for the delay is because my psychiatrist quit A WEEK AGO. Always get different information. A nurse practitioner changed my spravato treatment that was working for me without any notice and now I'm struggling. Many clients with the Spravato clinic are having problems with insurance and don't seem to be getting any help with timely assistance to help with managing care. Only 3 chairs out of the 7 work, they have been broken for months which causes you to have to get there early to get a seat that reclines, or has the heat and vibration function. Several of us are looking for a new click that can keep up with maintenance as comfort during treatment honestly goes a long way to help you relax for the 3 hours you are there. Awful! Beware! An NP in the office met me for my initial intake. After 5 minutes she said I was Bi Polar. I've been to the top medical treatment center in the country and she said their diagnosis of me was incorrect??? I spent five days for 6 hours a day attending classes and being watched by Doctors!! please, please get better help. you're doing nothing for your patients. Just don't waste your time. Awful! There's a reason they can get you in so soon. Cause NO Right minded person should allow to be treated that way. She continued to be rude when I disagreed with her and told me she wouldn't treat me. Witnessed here firsthand one of the most unprofessional practices as a whole. My experience with Ms. Gaulin and other ratchet nurses was mind blowing. Elizabeth Gaulin first asks if I have a car on phone 1st intake (yes they do more than one) and why I'm not going to the last doc, and why his license is revoked in appointment times charges 300 for follow ups that take 5 minutes for her to fight with you for medication adjustments and adamantly gives the only option of TMS. Laura Lavegin handle these situations in the future with respect rather than resorting to aggressive tactics in an attempt to undermine and negate the facts of the post-trauma bitterness from EG. Attributing fault to insurance consumers and attaching silly elusive labels "negativistic" based solely on individual encounters is not even close how it went down. When they chart, their poor staff conduct is of course left out. Get a professional and respectful attitude, especially during challenging overburdened/ understaffed low-quality slinging pills and labels times. Own your inept diagnostics and shallow comprehension. Take a diligent approach and begin delivering high-quality service than such a scum subpar operation. Approach interactions with insurers less ineptly- avoid making judgments without accurate comprehension. Acknowledge that most patients are more knowledgeable of themselves and more insightful than the employees at this company's disposal and should not have to tolerate such people. Avoid overestimating your intellect. Ignorant employees here need guidance maintaining professionalism. Take responsibility for unprofessional conduct and poor work ethic and no longer be covert and grow up. Neuro Behavioral Center - I WARNED THEM MORE THAN ONCE. THEY DO NOT LISTEN - Psychiatrists Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

The reason for my review is that this place is currently prescribing Adderall to my brother, who is a drug addict. I personally am not using their services. Up until a year ago, he was addicted to fentanyl. After multiple overdoses, he managed to quit the fentanyl and started abusing Adderall, which he was obtaining illegally. His original reason (at least this is what he told his family) for contacting Neuro Behavioral Center was for depression. Somehow his depression turned into ADHD and he soon had an Adderall prescription. Bottom line is that he fooled these medical professionals in order to get an Adderall prescription. It is quite obvious that this place doesn't pull medical records ahead of time or do in-person initial visits, otherwise they would have been well-aware of his past and intent. It kills me to have to post a review for a mental health facility, but the way this company operates needs to be brought to light. Shame on them. read more

I agree with all the bad reviews Neuro Behavioral center has received. I no longer go there because I felt worse then when I first started there. They are good on pushing pills. I had bad side effects from most of them and the last medication they have me was really bad. I called to let them know and no one got back to me. Then they try to get you to do TMS or the nasal spray which causes a list of side effects a mile long. They put into my insurance without my permission. They kept saying I had good insurance. So it's all about money not about the person who is suffering from depression and anxiety. All I can say is stay away from this place. read more

I will be reporting Dr. Yousef Abou-Allaban to APA is he is a member and a staff does not call soon. I came in for anxiety and panic after an accident, and his first recommendation was TMS (FDA approved in US for depression and OCD only) He said we'd report me as having depression to get it approved. Tomorrow was my 3rd appointment EVER with him to bring in a family member and discuss all options. He called me this morning to come in to start TMS. I called to tell him I would not start the treatment until my family approved at tomorrow's meeting and he cancelled my appointment and refuses to even discuss another option. tldr; used insurance fraud to misreport my diagnosis just to build a bigger portfolio for treating patients using TMS. read more

Maybe the most unprofessional company in health care. My first psychiatrist got fired for pushing anti depressants after pushing them on me and continuously calling me the wrong name during our sessions. My second psychiatrist works M-Th 11-5pm like many of the others, so if you have a job good luck getting a session. The call center workers will call you about 8 times between sessions. Good luck getting a response when they forget to fill your prescription or send it to the wrong pharmacy which they will do almost every time. They will never call you back and if your are lucky enough to get them on the phone, they will ignore the issue you have been trying to address for the last two weeks and shove booking your next appointment down your throat. I must disagree with the negative reviews. My experience at Neuro Behavioral Center, and Dr. Fawad specifically, has been outstanding. I find Dr. Fawad to be kind, compassionate, and very understanding. Even more importantly, she takes the time to listen to what is going on and asks the tough questions, even the ones that might make us feel uncomfortable. But that's okay - that's her job. She may be in charge of dispensing the medication but I have NEVER felt like that was her job - she is much more of a listener to be sure our needs our met. It was a harrowing experience watching a child develop a disease that we didn't know she had and Dr. Fawad and her staff basically held my hand to be sure that everything went as it should. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this practice as I know many others who have had extremely dissimilar experiences elsewhere. We could not be happier. read more

Dr. Fawad provides no handshake, no smile, no warm greeting when meeting for the first time. She is the coldest and most distant doctor I've ever met. She was pushing anti-depression medication within 10 minutes of meeting for the first time after she made her "assesment" which consisted of questions she read off of a computer screen. She makes it impossible to open up to her with her emotionless face and I couldn't wait to get out of there after 20 min with her. read more

The portal is easy to use, appointments are always available and I can make them as soon as I leave my previous appointment, and I have enjoyed working with Dr. Fawad. She is friendly, calm, and has a soothing demeanor. I think she has a great "bed-side manner". I continue to be happy and satisfied with the treatment there, and would recommend Dr. Fawad! read more

Dr priyya, is my psychiatrist and she is amazing taking the role of therapist at times which was very beneficial. Staff members that genuinely care for me were mrs batul, amazing person! and John . I've never dealt with a more unprofessional medical practice. My first psychiatrist told me she was being let go, which that in itself is unprofessional... Another issue I had with them was when I was having a major depressive episode and wasn't feeling safe, so I called at 10-11am looking for someone to talk to just to have them call me back at 4:30 right before they close... It's a good thing I was ok because someone could have easily lost their life in those hours it took them to respond to me. I also had an issue with Dr. Yousef. My NP wanted him to help explain a medication to me during my virtual appointment. He entered the visit and the first thing he mentioned was transcranial magnetic stimulation or TMS. I only need medication management and he had the nerve to come into my appointment and try to sell his TMS treatment to me. It's a very extreme treatment for someone like me who has a laundry list of medical health issues from being chronically ill. They get paid more by insurance for treatments like that. So to me Dr Yousef does not care about his patients, only the money in his pocket. Then the cherry on top for me was when I went into the office to pick up a sample medication and the woman at the front desk violated HIPPA by talking about a different patient while I was standing in front of her. She mentioned the patients first and last name right next to me so it was 100% a HIPPA violation. It's really just been one problem after another with this facility. Oh and one last VERY IMPORTANT thing! Never leave your card on file because they will charge you without your permission. I didn't have enough money on my card since I'm unemployed and they ended up charging me without notice. I ended up having a negative balance and owed an overdraft fee to my bank. I have had personal experiences at this place which were awful, but being back in the waiting room with my boyfriend, I know it's not just me. This place is purely profit driven. As a psychology major, I can tell you that 10 minute appointments are NOT adequate, and very unsafe. And even with the decrease from safe timing for check-ups, we waited ~40 minutes for the doctor to call him in. This place is NOT safe or effective. Try a different office. There are psychiatrists that care more and will place more time for appointments to give them a more accurate view of your mental health, instead of just handing you a prescription and forcing you out the door so they can get more copayments. read more

Be warned -- this place is run like a factory to profit primarily from TMS treatments, which are recommended for seemingly everyone, regardless of diagnosis. The doctor "mischaracterizes" symptoms and severity to obtain insurance approval. Clinical services do not seem tailored to the individual. My doctor did not remember my history from one visit to the next, and would complain that he did not have time to review my file. He would suggest that a particular medication might be very beneficial but in the same breath state that he would rather not attempt to prescribe it because it requires pre-authorization, which is too time consuming for his staff. There was never a treatment plan; he even forgot what medications I was on or had tried each time I saw him (though he was my only prescriber). I didn't feel that I was seen or heard. Please, if you have mental health issues and need help, do not go here because you risk stagnating or getting worse. Please find caring, professional providers -- they are out there and I am so glad I switched to a competent doctor. read more

Absolutely a joke. I went here for severe ptsd I was placed on about 5 different meds in less than 2 months because I was having bad reactions with no one to follow up with . You're appointments are about 10 minutes tops with a 20 minute wait.. I then switched from one psychiatrist to the next to be threatened by the other one when mine went on vacation and I was forced to see he previous for one appointment. " well I could fill your panic attack medicine but since you chose other dr over me I can refill your script" .. really because I was here for my script refill appointment and you're who I was placed with and you have my file in front of you ... My therapist I found to be under-qualified as well I was being abused and voice it multiple times to be told to leave but didn't have anywhere to go.. no referral for shelter services or anything.. equivalent to speaking to a rock. The last straw was my last day in the waiting room some drug girl who I'm assuming is in therapy for addiction comes in stumbling drunk and yelling with her family around her.. not the place to be bringing someone who was looking like they needed impatient and not one staff diffused the situation. read more

They constantly look out for my best interest at heart and are there for me at the drop of a hat. They constantly call and check up on me to see how I'm doing. And give recommendations to me. Please do not go here. They never have time for an appointment and are constantly understaffed and switching appointments. I received calls 2 hours before my appointments to see if I could drive over and meet with the doctor at that exact moment. It was very unprofessional from the start. I actually met with both of the doctors working in the office. At first I thought I was receiving the help I needed, until they forgot about me. Not only did they prescribe me over 3 kinds of medication, which was way too much for my body, but then they forgot to send refills in and would not answer the phone. This place ended up making my problems 100% worse and I am a grown adult. Many of the times I showed up for a visit there were A LOT of children in the office and this scared me. Dr. Joseph Abou-Allaban is the worst psychiatric provider I have ever met. I have been treated by this man for years and I have always had issues with him. I should have switched providers long ago, but I didn't and now I am in a position where I am without all medications. I have been in adderall for over 7 years and Ambien for maybe 4. He has taken me off of the adderall or switched to other less effective meds multiple times. I give urine at every appointment and for some reason my adderall wasn't showing up for two appointments. I made an appointment with Dr. Aasma Khandeka for my 7yr old. I thought that he may be on the autism spectrum. We had one appointment and I filled out a lot of paperwork. I get a phone call couple days before our next appointment and I was told she no longer is excepting Masshealth. I have been waiting for this appointment and for her to help and we get this phone call. I am beyond upset over this. I honestly think she should not have been paid by Masshealth for that one appointment. Nothing was done and that was a waste of my time. Now I have to find a new place. read more

This place has the worst staff i have ever dealt with. Some of them are very hard to understand. Getting a prescription refilled is a nightmare. They would always call an hour or 2 ahead of an appointment to tell me i have to reschedule. I would tell them i need a refill on a prescription and they would say i have to see the doctor first??? No kidding but you canceled my appointment. I had my last appointment on Saturday September 29. When i got there the office was closed? I hoped they were just running late so I waited there for an hour. I tried calling but obviously no one answered. I left a message saying that i was here and the office was closed. On Monday morning they called and said i missed my appointment? Are they kidding? I explained to the guy what happened but he couldn't give me a straight answer on why they were closed. Please be very careful with these doctors. It is almost impossible to get anyone in on the phone. They have an online system, and the doctor with respond 2-3 days later. The prescribe an SSRI for me at an extremely high dose, they wouldn't refill and I would feel awful without it. Effexor is the name. They made me sicker as my own trust physician. read more

First appointment gave me a sense of optimism and I felt listen to with Allison queen and I was prescribed the correct medication with her. She gave me seven days worth of my meds. Everything took a turn when I learned that she was not a psychiatrist and she was a nurse practitioner. I was ponder off to a different psychiatrist apparently the psychiatrist runs the entire office. He prejudged me and I felt not only rushed but treated as if I was imposing and this doctor did not refill my medication and told me he wanted me to get off my medications and told me to go back into a medication that was backfiring on me. I finally started to feel like myself again and this doctor not only not Prescribe me anything he told me to go back on my old medication which I only had a few days left on and cut that in half. This is not only dangerous but irresponsible. I ran out of my medication and I tried to get a hold of him in the office kept telling me even though they are very nice that I was going to get a call back and you never called me back. I was terrified about withdrawal and a emergency call him. To my utter shock at the disorganization of this place I did not receive a call back and it was five days trying to get in touch with just any person in this office to prescribe me something to get me through. I at least had my primary care who is able to assist me throughout this I still never received a phone call until about a week later. They finally gave me a appointment with this doctor and he did not keep this appointment he actually set up a different time in the morning where I tried even to accommodate that and he did not respond. The office was not even open at this time I have waited until I could get a hold of somebody at 8o'clock in the morning. I was then told that he was unavailable and I would have to wait another four days to speak with him. I felt as if this was an ethical and very dangerous as you can go into withdrawal from the medication that I'm on And the withdrawal comes with seizures death and many other horrible effects when cut down or stopped Abruptly. I asked this practice if there is another psychiatrist I could see unfortunately this is the only person within these five different offices that you can speak with. I recently just read online that other people had the same issue I hope that another patient does not have to go through this and I'm surprise that I was unable to obtain any sort of help from this person. The staff is very friendly it's just very disorganized and I felt uncomfortable very uncomfortable with this Psychiatrist and I told the staff this and I called management and even though I did all this and no one would get back to me I had to be an advocate for myself Which is very hard for me to do as I am people pleaser. Maybe this place is right for another client just not for me. I found that many other people have had similar experiences. Especially with The epidemic that's going on finding a psychiatrist is extremely difficult and I was curious to know why I got a meeting so fast and now I understand that either the psychiatrist takes on too many Patients or add something else going on but it seems as if I was second-tier or even fourth tier on his mind. It's extremely sad to me that as I was doing better he seemed that did not care about that and the fact he would not write me a prescription which I needed and told me that the first person I had spoken with was wrong to have given me anything. It it would appear that he reprimanded her for giving me the correct medication and that is just really sad to think that someone in this industry that are supposed to take care of you psychologically just leaves you sort of abandoned. I discontinued this person as my psychiatrist and hope that he does not treat other patients same way. I am lucky enough to have other people in my corner that were able to assist me because funniest Psychiatrist is very hard and luckily I have someone to take care of me and bridge my medication for the time being until I can get a psychiatrist that is not too strict and not to Lenient. I hope this can guide someone in the right direction. It's not to say not to go to this Psychiatrist it just was not something for me and I would not recommend this person to my friends or family. read more

I signed my son up with one of the therapists there due to several loses in the family. She was very patient with my son who in turn absolutely loved her. After such a wonderful and positive experience all astound I referred several other friends and family here as well. All of which I have heard nothing but positive praises from them.
