I had one visit with them in which I filled out some paperwork regarding my skills and employment prospects. I then met with one of their representatives for approximately two minutes, in which time she told me that I shouldn't have trouble getting work myself, and if they have to see me again for a follow up visit in around three months time, they would be forced to find me a minimum wage dead end job to fulfil their requirements. The whole experience, whilst quick and painless, was hardly encouraging, so I'm glad that it was a free service. I wouldn't, however, encourage anyone to pay out of their own pocket for their service (at least for the service that I received).

I'm grateful for there help, it's about me, it's about them individually, it's about us working together as a team to get me a lil step further to where i wanna be when I'm sixty+. I hate marketing myself out and just upset when a positions, i'm well and overly qualified for is given to the next person that knows of that person whom then got the position from that person, this is not about WHO YOU KNOW, it's all really for WHAT YOU KNOW, get that one and you'll know how to work your way around job networking in agencies, as long as you understand yourself, what you know and how you get about it, then that's alright. I have a steady income with centrelink, it takes me from A to B and i don't have to be force into a job even if it means, I'm gonna have to make sacrifices that which means time away from my boys, it's not worth the hassle for me at the end of the day, I can maintain respect on a low yet steady income than chase the big guns and me kids are left without a mum, so, I really don't mind joining the team as a client or as a member. This is my second time rap jumping first was in at Urban Central as part of a fitness challenge…read more Both Lees were very friendly and professional and delt with nervous people very well. I completed all three jumps very nervous each time. However having complete trust in the guys definitely helped. I then bought my husband a voucher for xmas to go rap jumping at the You Yangs. Lee contacted us prior to our booked date and suggested Straughton Vale as we'd done it before we may enjoy Straughton Vale more as its a little more challenging. Loved it. Never in a million years did I think I would be saying I want to learn how to rock climb, abseil or rap jump again. But I can't wait to do it again with the two Lees. Safety is key and these guys made sure we were safe at all times. Thank you

Rap Jumping is the company that offers the activity of abseiling face first down a building. I was…read morerecently given 2 gift vouchers to do this and I had an exhilarating time that I will never forget. The building they usual abseil is the 'Urban Central Accommodation' that can often be seen from the freeway. When we arrive we were addressed about safety and a brief history of the activity and the company. The group then goes upstairs to the roof to get ready for the jump. We were fitted with helmets, harnesses and gloves (pick the thickest glove possible). When it was my turn to go, I stepped up onto the edge of this 8-story building- and the instructor pretty much pushed me (nicely) over the edge. My first time going down was quite hard as it is against gravity to be 90degrees and horizontal. My butt kept scraping the wall because I couldn't get my body to go face first. When I was finally doing it right it was lots of fun, you use your feet to bounce off the wall and your grip of the rope alters how fast you go down. There is a second instructor at the bottom (ground level), who is there to assist and help you get down. Overall we each got to jump around 3-4times, the scariest bit was always going over the ledge- it's just like jumping off a building. Get the thickest gloves possible as my partner (and some of the other guests) got pretty bad rope burn.

What I found was a tiny, single story, bright orange building that I must have walked past a hundred times in my life without ever noticing! My appointment with them was to have a look at potential marketing jobs as I'm looking to progress my career in digital. They were warm, friendly and very welcoming. They are not your typical recruiters - a lot more human and they actually took the time to really get to know me and what I wanted for the long term. The consultant I met was very professional and spoke knowledgeably about the industry which was impressive. They seem to know their stuff - unlike other recruiters I've been to in the past. They followed up with me about two weeks later just to touch base which was nice. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I hope that it eventuates into a new job for moi!

A consultant who had me head all the way out to see her to tell me there was nothing available at the moment. Well HELLO, this could've easily been done over the phone. And then, offer me roles that I'm clearly not interested in because, wait for it...... she hasn't bothered to ask me what kind of role or industry I am interested in and I've already been in there for too long. Not my first choice in talent agencies.
