My experience with Middlesex Power Sports / Old Outboard Marina or what ever else Mario is calling himself now, was exactly the same as other reviews you will find on the web if not worse. Mario had my boat for no less than...wait for it...4 1/2 years (not months, years). During which time I stopped in many many times to check on its status. I had to stop in as Mario does not take or return calls. In fact most of the time you can't even leave a message as his message are full. Twice when I visited I found he had been evicted from his place and the boat along with most everything else was gone. Tracking him down to his new location was both time consuming and as anxiety packed as you can imagine. At one point he did have it finished (although not tested) and was delivering it too me only to have the back engine cover fly off on rt 495. Mario did not lock the cover down and it was caught by the wind and flew off. This was a truly rookie mistake that could have easily killed someone. This is a much longer story than I have time to write here but after all the pain, anguish and time, Mario ended stiffing me for $200....sigh. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOAT HERE AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UP FRONT!

When you bring it to their attention, its not their problem and you can wait for several weeks for them to even consider looking at it. This is on a 2013 very well maintained boat in excellent condition. After bringing my boat in for service, I now have the original issue still not working and additional issues that were not a problem when i dropped it off. The bill was paid immediately once they said the boat was ready. Also, the kicker is they hang up the phone on customers, don't return calls and further patronize the service customers. Bottom line is that they don't warranty or honor their service repairs and from what I'm hearing now, there are quite a few people in the same situation.

I simply gave them my credit cards number. I saw a charge of $4985.28 show up on my Discover account, which is more than double the amount that was provided to me in the estimate. Upon reviewing the bill, I see total charges of $400.38 for shrink wrapping. This equals $19.50 per foot. Before authorizing shrink wrapping, Brandon quoted me $16.00 per foot. The billed amount is an overcharge of more than $70.00! East Coast Flightcraft has exclusively performed ALL service on my boat. I bought the boat from them. I have been a loyal, if not excellent customer for 20 years. The last three years I have had issues with the service department. The service this year was terrible, and the estimate/quote/cost was deceptive. They have lost me as a customer. - Joe Lynch
