I drop my dogs off for boarding and despite me asking several times they never stopped using the leash that was choking the neck of my tiny Italian greyhound. The third day of boarding I visited and noticed a lump on his neck and he was having trouble breathing. The doctor on duty assured me she would keep a close eye on him and make sure it didn't get any larger, unfortunately this did not happen. May I add that I was the one who found the lump (golf ball sized) they never even looked twice at him long enough to notice. I showed up the following day and his neck had tripled in size and no one alerted me. They did not even bother to take the paper collar around his neck off that was cutting off circulation. He was in so much pain he was wheezing and whimpering. I stressed how disappointed I was there was not an eye kept on my dog and the kennel attendant responded " you are right I will let them know to keep a closer eye next time" what if there had not been a next time? What if your neglect and mishandling cost him his life? I firmly believe if I did not take my dog immediately to receive emergency medical attention that he would not be alive. We are currently doing multiple forms of testing to figure out how he obtained the lump and how to treat it. I will attach photos.

Warning this is gonna be a long/book, but it is well worth reading in my opinion…read more My Shih Tzu Gracie has been going here since she was a several months old. I was a new dog owner and I wanted to make sure she got the best care out there. They take care of my needs and still take care of every need I have. Her brother he is also a Shih Tzu Milo and he came along behind Gracie since day one Dealing with this animal hospital veterinarian. No matter how big or little my concerns were or questions I may have they were hands-down available, Never did they once make me feel uncomfortable. I have dealt with 3. Of thr doctors there and each of them were very caring and they were exceptionally caring towards me to ease my thoughts with anything I may need. My puppies are always taking care of. I find confidence and comfort in their abilities with my puppies. They treat them as their own. I also take them up on their services of kenneling, day, care, and overnight. My Shih Tzu's always come back to me with a great disposition because of how they interact with every animal that walks through the doorway. I firsthand have seen how the animal I could see the way that the Owner were so comfortable with the veterinarian's . I don't think I can have enough time to even go further in, but it is already turning into a book. I would completely recommend this practice. I am glad my friend Jill introduced me to it. Kudos to the staff and grateful for the doctors. I hope people That read this can see how serious I take my dogs and how wonderful and serious they take care of my dogs. They have a big thumbs up from me. Thank you for keeping my puppies, healthy, and happy as they are in your hands. Much appreciation! Dee G.

Heather has groomed my now 11 year old toy poodle for years. We have trusted her and always been…read morehappy with how my poodle turned out. She never seemed extra stressed when we picked her up. It seemed to be a great situation (the only thing was I never saw Heather when i dropped off and picked up my dog, that was always odd, but i figured she was busy). Anyway, we got a new toy poodle puppy recently. She was 12 weeks old and we figured it was a good time to get her acclimated to the grooming experience. We specifically said our toy poodle (3 lbs at the time) was only 12 weeks old, this was her very first groom. We asked for her to be bathed, trimmed around her face, feet, sanitary area *as tolerated.* We were told our puppy was aggressive, had to be held down by 3 people (remember, 3 lb puppy). She hadn't been completely potty trained at the time, still tried to mouth at hands, was teething, wasn't the best behaved, so I believed it and was embarrassed for my puppy's behavior, over a bath! I had bathed our puppy probably 6 times already since we got her, I had scissor trimmed around her face, brushed her often and even trimmed her nails before. We were completely shocked upon picking up our little puppy she had a completely full groom. Shaved feet, shaved face, very short hair all over, shaved butt - didn't even look like our puppy at all. It was definitely not a puppy trim *as tolerated.* Now we understand why our puppy got so scared and stressed that she lashed out, fight or flight response. She had never been groomed before, she must have been terrified. Ever since then, our puppy is a different dog. She now is very anxious about everything. She had such a bubbly, joyful, easy-going personality. Now she is scared, fearful about so much. We have her in private training now, and the trainer has said she is scared of anything and we have to work in baby steps to even give her a bath again. I am devastated that my now 14 week old, 3.5 lb puppy has been traumatized. We trusted Heather for years with my older toy poodle. We thought she was the best groomer. It is never appropriate to hold down a 12 week old puppy to shave her completely. I wish she would have stopped, so that our puppy would have happy associations with grooming. 2 stars because we really did trust Heather for years, with my most prized possession, a family member. 2 stars because now that trust is broken, our 12 week old puppy was restrained, looks like a different dog, and has a completely new anxious/stressed personality when handled by strangers.

I have to admit, it had been a little too long between baths for her. I truly appreciate they were willing to fit her in right away and although I did not accompany Ms. Harli this time, my husband was impressed by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Thank you for a wonderfully positive experience. Mostly thank you for your love and kindness, especially towards the animals - as that's supposed to be what it's all about. We will be back. GREAT EXPERIENCE
