We just got another update that they are postponing the finishing of the project for another 3 weeks, and won't be able to make it Monday as scheduled. Seriously? Pros: 1) Have all the subcontractors available. 2) Nice and professional staff. 3) Did a good job with restoration - the replaced trim and baseboards looked better than the original ones. Cons: 1) Timing - despite initially saying they weren't busy, they took a few days to come out and assess the damage. Also took another few weeks to get to the demolition, by which time they said the water damage had already dried itself out. Then it took about another 1.5 months for restoration, which was a bit frustrating since we had to live with holes in our dry wall and our furniture misplaced for several weeks. Cracks from the demolition continued to get bigger as time went on. 2) One of their subcontractors took a couple weeks to reach out to us despite us reminding them frequently. We ended up finding our own electrician who fixed our issue before their subcontractor even called us. 3) Pricing - again I don't have a basis for comparison, but I felt we were charged higher than necessary. At the first assessment, they came in and were very clear that this job was pretty small for them, so the price (and the amount of time taken to complete this job as I said above) seemed disproportionate to the amount of work needed. They did return a small amount of money for work they didn't end up needing to do.
