I needed some work done in my kitchen, and on a fairly strange timeline…read more I had purchased a new faucet for my kitchen sink and after asking friends for advice, the majority suggested that I hire someone suited for the job, rather than trying my hand at the task with the assistance of Youtube Videos. I came across Troy and his business The Right Hammer on Facebook and messaged to see if he'd be willing to take on the task, and on my less than optimal schedule. He responded quickly, and said that not only was he up for the task, but would be willing to work with my schedule and would be happy to come over on a Sunday morning without charging extra for working on a weekend. Upon his prompt arrival, Troy was pleasant and professional. He made short work of the faucet replacement, as well as taking on another task that I threw at him as a curve ball... removing an undersink water heater/dispenser. He didn't bat an eye, and all of the work was completed within an hour. I cannot say enough nice things about Troy and The Right Hammer. I am looking forward to using his services for a wide variety of tasks around my home that I have no clue on how to complete myself!

Follow up on action items and outsanding questions? No way, my guy. This summer, our deprioritized deck project came back with a vengeance. So, I picked up where I left off, reading reviews and reaching out to contractors. Several failed to respond. One company told me I'd need to pay $150 for the privilege of simply getting a quote. Day One Renovations? A timely response and a promptly scheduled, in person consult. Jonathon and Ari were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Timely, proactive, and responsive. When we hired them, it seemed like a no brainer. Now that work is complete, I wish we had hired them sooner. Their attention to detail was tremendous and they left the worksite looking better than it did when they first arrived. Perhaps the biggest compliment of all? Before they could even wrap up, the neighbors came over to introduce themselves and ask for a quote. Looking forward to having folks over tomorrow to enjoy the new deck. Thanks again!

We were impressed with H2H at every stage of the project and thrilled with the results. They nailed every measure of success. They listened to what we wanted and clearly reflected our priorities and constraints in their proposal, detailed design and estimate. They exemplified professionalism, attention to detail, quality of work, clear communication and delivered on schedule and on budget. The few changes were mostly due to our requests. Any variations from the original plan/estimate were transparently discussed, approved by us, and tracked, so there were no surprises in the final invoice. We did our homework. We got 2 other proposals from well-established companies and 2 independent general contractors, in addition to H2H, before selecting H2H as the best value for the money. Their costs were more in line with our expectations and the owner, Tim Magee, was excellent to work with. He inspired great confidence that they could and would do this right and the project leads and crews delivered as promised!! Based on the stellar results, Heart to Home just started remodeling our primary bathroom!
