I'm a big fan of Boss, about %98 of my outfits are Boss. Usually I'm not get any brand except my favorite brand which is BOSS. Always when I go to galleria Mall in Glendale CA,I really enjoy to go to Boss store just to see new outfits. This branch has a very rude and unprofessional staff or seller who's name is "Will"!!! I visited Hugo Boss Beverly Center store with my parents yesterday (Dec 17) around 4:00pm. My parents came to visit me one week ago from Asia for the holiday season. We visited Hugo Boss because my dad was a loyal customer of this brand for years before he retired, he bought nice suits for himself as gifts once for a while when he was still working. He believes a nice suit for a man is like a solid armour, so even when he doesn't need these business suits anymore now, he still hangs them in his closet and keep them clean and organized. He has good memories of shopping at Hugo Boss, so we thought it would be nice if we could take him to see Hugo Boss store in another country when he travels aboard. My mom walked into the store first, my father and me followed her. When my mom started to look at the clothes on the shelf, I saw one sales representative greeted with my mom, but since she cannot understand English, she didn't realize it. I didn't want to be rude, so I walked toward him and greeted with him. At the same time, there were three or four sales representatives were standing and chatting at the cashier corner which was pretty far from us, one of them saw us and shout: "Hello, welcome, we are on sale!". I felt very strange he said so, the sales representative who greeted with us before felt it strange too, both of us looked at that person, then he said "What? We are on sale." Then everybody in his group laughed with his "Joke" except my parents and me. My mom asked me what did they laughing about, I didn't say anything. I didn't know how to explain to my parents I believed they are racism. I didn't think my old parents could get that joke "Asians should only shop at outlets for the on-sale stuffs". Most of all, I don't want my dad remember this bad experience when he looked at his old Hugo Boss suits in his closet. I don't want to explain too much about how disappoint I felt yesterday. My English is not good enough to tell my story perfectly neither, but I still want to try my best to share my experience here, to somebody who cares. read more

When both me and my buddy walked into Hugo boss, we were checking out the suits that were stocked. It is a beautiful feeling seeing all the quality. The staff were standing around and weren't too interactive except for one, Dell. He brought me water and it was Evian. Soo classy right?? But for an $800 suit it makes sense the water is high class too haha. There are seats that are available for those who have tired feet. The material is very expensive and if you are willing to pay the extra money, it is well worth it. The suits are high quality and fit snug to make you look like a "boss". My friend got a suit and he decided pretty quickly, he will definitely be impressing women with it! LOL The people who work there wear the clothing from the store and it really shows you how amazing it looks. I think this tactic is good because you can see them while it is worn rather than a mannequin. I would recommend guys come here next time they are looking for a suit because it seems to be very high quality and high fashion. I needed a new suit after 8 yrs for upcoming weddings and special occasions. Stopped by Men's Warehouse first and that was a disaster in terms of poor selection and poor service. And then I stopped by Hugo Boss next. I honestly thought it was going to be out of my price range. And then Del picked out an incredible suit that fit my budget. He was very patient with my wife and I. I had to stop by twice to get the fit to be perfect and the team was very kind, patient, and helpful to us throughout the process. Matt B. got his tux for our wedding at the Hugo Boss in the Beverly Center. It was an easy experience, and he looked marvelously handsome when I married him, anyway. The store was big and reasonably attractive. We went in looking helpless and a sales associate approached us the second he was free. He was friendly and helpful. He attended to Matt and gave us bottled water to get us through our errand. He showed us the two black tuxedos he had in the store, and one of them was perfect. We picked up the tux and a matching black vest. Unfortunately the store didn't have a tuxedo shirt with a wingtip collar, or patent leather shoes that weren't hideous. (We did end up getting Hugo Boss shoes at Bloomingdale's later that afternoon.) The alteration process was less smooth. We never got the call that the tux was ready to go, even when it was supposed to have been ready for weeks. When we went to pick it up anyway, the pants didn't fit. It is possible that Matt go bigger around the middle despite not gaining any weight, but I strongly suspect that the waist was never let out at all. Luckily the tailor was on site and able to fix the pants while we waited. It took less than ten minutes. All in all we had a positive experience, and Matt got a great tux for a decent price. I don't know when he'd wear it again, but I hope that he does. Either way, I guess he got some good use out of it already. read more

I've been a Hugo Boss customer for a very long time because their service is always very very good. I remember coming into a Hugo boss when I was in college to purchase my first suit. I was terrified and the sales person walked me through the process and made me so comfortable that I ended up falling in love with the suit culture. Welp - This time was no different. My sales person Del was great. Helped us sort through their selection of tuxedos to a perfect Blue tuxedo. Went far out of his way to help me with my decision. I felt a bit bad for sending him into the backroom so many times to look for things. Would I go back? Absolutely. Hugo Boss is and always will be my go-to for off-the-rack suites. I looked at a few fragrances and when the employee asked my friend how he's doing and my friend replied, and asked the employee how he's doing, the employee said "oh we're ready to close." My name is Franklin Ziegler .. I own a plumbing company in Southern California. My wife, and I went on a 4 day getaway with out kids to Hollywood. We spent are time shopping, and hanging out at the dream Hotel. We ended up at the Hugo Boss store, at the Beverly Center,Where I bought 2 pair of jeans. When I got back to the Hotel I took the tag off , and then noticed the Tag said 32x 30.. well I was pretty confident that I selected the right size. So I put the Jeans back into the bag, and I Just wanted to exchange them for the right size. The next day when I returned to the Mall . The Hugo boss employee scans the receipt, and notifies us that this was not the correct pair of pants. Well I was shocked, and just thought it was there mistake, he then called up Somebody that was a superviser. But this guy didn't even know how to read the receipt. And then even called the manager of Hugo Boss, where he said he would not except a exchange, or refund. But thank God the pants where 36x30 , and they where just miss tagged. So I'm giving Hugo Boss 1 Star for there poor customer service.and the lack to identify their own mistake on labeling and make the consumer feel that I've done something wrong... read more

GO TO RODEO NOT BEVERLY CENTER HUGO BOSS RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE Worst service ever. I've been to the store on Rodeo and everything was just fabulous. My brother, on other hand, had the misfortune of visiting this shop- and extended his horrible encounter to me when he left his suit with Beverly Center Hugo Boss for repair. (he is not in LA anymore) So I assume he spent about 1k on his suit, and he needed certain things redone- so he took it back to Hugo Boss and asked to have it done. They were supposed to call when it was ready, (which was 3 weeks after he left his suit with them) but no phone call was received. I called in his place and got a curt answer that it was ready. So I go to pick it up- And before I leave the place, I check if they had done the adjustment my brother asked (hemline of one leg needed to be fixed) and it wasn't. I was a bit annoyed but they promised to have it done by next day so I left. The next day no one calls me. And no one calls me for about a week regarding the suit- So I had to call in about a week to ask for the status and they say it was ready- yet no one gave a hoot about calling and letting me know for the second time. So I go to pick up the suit, and what I asked to redo was not done at all. Yet the salesperson had the nerves to say "It looks much better, yeah?" when NOTHING WAS DONE IN ABOUT A WEEK OF WAITING. I replied "Not really, but I don't have more time so I gotta go" and left with his suit. I saw that nothing was going to be done at this Hugo Boss and every time I had to go to the store or talk to their sales reps it was unpleasant. Don't waste your money at this location. I don't like Beverly Center in general but this store just goes out of its way to be a d-bag, like someone wrote. read more

This is one of my favorite places to go clothes shopping. I've gotta admit most Boss stuff is above average in price, but it's designer and I think his designs are unique and cool enough to justify the prices. The only thing I don't like is the recent trend towards extra slim fit stuff...I normally like slim fit, but Boss has all this new fit called "Slim-X" (which is beyond slim). I couldn't even get my arms through an X-Large! There was another one that I can't remember the name of, but I remember it was hard to fit into it. This Beverly Center location is my favorite so far because: +sales people aren't pretentious (like the one in Beverly HIlls) +hot sales girls ;) +easy parking (referring to the mall, not the sales girls) +huge selection of everything Boss...they even have a women's section in the back (I swear that wasn't me shopping for "a hot strapless number") +if you shop there a lot, you get invited to special open houses with free alcohol and hors d'oeuvres A couple of tips: +if you're looking for suits, wait for the end of the season, since they'll have suits for about 40% off +if you like sales, the "regular" non-suit clothes go on sale at the end of each season too -if you don't see your size for something, ask since they have way more stuff in the back. He said he doesn't know anything about a money clip and that was all. He was not helpful at all. Short of it is Dian Davidson is the BEST! Ask for her! She works with me, finds the best looks for me and shows me the best deals. The manager is always helpful and seems to be great support for Dian. BTW I walked in wearing a printed tshirt I made myself, cargo pants from the surplus store and a backpack. STILL got great service even though I looked crazy =D Long of it is, I was a Nordstrom employee for about 8 years and a patron for 15. I used to go to Nordstrom to purchase my Hugo Boss apparel but the customer service at the location that was frequenting was declining drastically. At first I was intimidated to visit the Hugo Boss store. Upon my first visit, I was greeted by Dian and made to feel at home right away. After my first visit, all the intimidation of being in a Hugo Boss store had melted away. After my second visit i noticed the other staff members, whom I had no interaction with, were greeting me by name and were very courteous because they saw me working with Dian a previous occasion. They even offer to find her for me! I walk in, I'm greeted and welcomed by name, I'm offered water coffee and tea, and finally a great time finding my new look with a vastly experienced sales person. I started a new job last year and my new company is conservative and professional when it comes to attire, so I was required to invest in a completely new wardrobe of suits, ties, and abundance of shirts. Over the past year, I have visited Hugo almost 3 times to purchase new items. These suits provide the utmost comfort, for being "a suit." I love the product. My sales person is always professional, knowledgeable and recommends the best color combinations. He always notifies me when new products arrive and there are upcoming sales on the horizon, mostly at the end of the seasons when suits are 30% off. I noticed others recommend the Rodeo store, but that store is never open during convenient hours. Beverly Center hours are great and this store is always clean and easy to navigate. I appreciate the staff being so friendly and accommodating every time I walk in the store, and if my sales person is not there, someone else is just as helpful. I will continue to shop here as they earn my business. Most people may not realize that you can't buy a suit in a rush. Those seems to be the folks complaining on yelp. And the upside when there's not a rush, your suit and clothes will be tailored with precision! read more

Very frustrated. Just spent $1400 on a suit (beautiful) shirt ($145) and a tie ($95). First of all the manager makes me feel like he is doing me a "favor" cause I had to call in with another credit card because I couldn't transfer my money fast enough on a Friday as one bank I deal with closes at 4. Then when I go to pick up the outfit today, they have the suit, the shirt and the tie hanging on on hanger, so the $145 shirt and the $95 tie is wrinkled. Same manager puts the outfit in a plastic cover instead of the fabric covers and tells me they're out of the fabric ones. I think when you pay $95 for a tie it should be in a box or something and the shirt folded in a bag or at least on another hanger. Not even a thank you from him. Total attitude. Mike the sales guy was cool about it all and helpful but the manager has some issues. I am asking for common curtesy, especially when I have spent this much money. Not that you should only be nice to those who are spending. Just bad customer service. Positive side, there is an Asian lady who works there. She is very nice & professional. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because of the 2 sales people I've mentioned. read more

I guess this one was better than the one at Costa Mesa, but that isn't saying much (they suck). The layout here is not bad. I contacted my sales person and he said to bring the suit back in, but did not even apologize for his store messing up the tailoring. I wasted my Sunday morning to bring the suit back to the store.
