I've been to this salon numerous times over the last few years and generally have had good experiences. My go-to is a basic gel overlay (on my natural nails) with a manicure. I would always be pleased with the look of my nails, however, I sometimes would notice them chipping after less than a week. It was also difficult to remove the gel at home (by soaking) and I would notice rings of fire along my nail bed from harsh drilling. Their pedicures also aren't the best. Overall, while Boss Nail Bar is great at nail designs/aesthetics, I don't think overall nail health is a priority of theirs so I would not return. read more

I came back at 4pm and services started immediately. I picked the lavender spa pedicure with added 10 minutes massage. The pedicure was just ok but I really couldn't enjoy the extra massage because some started my nails towards the end. Also the next day I noticed they didn't clean my cuticles well and the polish is uneven. When it came to my fill in the shaping was amazing and it was the exact length that I requested. My issue is when it came to my design I asked for one thing and was told no. I would have pushed back but by this time i realized they were closing and that's why things were being rushed. Three days later I have a major crack on my left index finger and had to get it repaired elsewhere. The wax was perfect. All in all my total tab was about $180 including 22% tip. I have been going to Boss for a hot minute and I have noticed that the acrylic sets don't last longer than a week. I kept going back because i thought it was just me being rough with my nails but i recently started going somewhere else, my set has lasted over 5 weeks. Certain staff at Boss are great and super nice but overall the quality of the manicures are TERRIBLE. I have only had my nails done a few times in my life and never understood the appeal, until I came to Boss Nail Bar. I first found this salon when my cousin was coming to visit and wanted to get our nails done together, and I have returned several times. I have brought other girlfriends with me as well and we always receive great care from the nail techs, they are so meticulous with their work. I've done full sets, gel manicures, and fill ins with them and we were all always impressed with the results. Their prices are very reasonable, especially with the detailed designs they do. I have to shout out Tao, Jennie, and Amy, they are the techs who did the amazing detailed nails pictured. I came here for the first time on 9/17 to get my eyebrows done (a clean up) and ended getting majority of my eyebrows waxed off... When I saw the results of my eyebrow waxing, I nearly started bawling my eyes out because of how HORRIBLY it came out. They are so thin right now and I honestly don't know if they can recover from this. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in my experience here. My brother also got a manicure and his nails were cut too deep. I've gotten dip nails here several times and a pedicure once. This is my favorite place to get my nails done and easily the best. They did a great job of adapting during Covid and are very cleanly. Thao is my favorite nail artist there. She does an amazing job and is super sweet. I trusted them to do my nails for my wedding and got a lot of compliments on my nails. Jasmine lacks in customer service , jasmine proceeded to argue with me after i came back in and did not like my nail design and was telling me that i should have been honest , she's done my nails before & i loved them ! , this time i take it that she got upset that she had to redo my nails. When asked for them to just be completely taken off instead because of the attitude she had towards me , she then told me that she spent two hours on my nails and i will not be able to get a refund. She was super detailed and attentive. I have pretty short nail beds and nails and she still took her time to make sure they looked good and asked lots of questions before just going forward with anything. This is MY personal experience. You've already gotten rid of the reviews on Google & also caused me to change my number, so please LEAVE ME ALONE! First of all I never leave reviews but this encounter with this nail salon really upset me. I am a very low key calm & quiet person but they need to outed for what just happened. I only visited them because of the previous owner was great at doing my nails & had several colors I liked. I called to get a price quote for how I wanted my nails. The girl that answered the phone asked the appropriate questions then quoted me a price. The tech kept messing up my nails but she fixed them so I didn't mind the end result plus I was ready to go. When I get ready to leave she tells me the price she quoted me is an additional 20 dollars than what she quoted me. I asked her why & she said because certain things there are extra. I said well then next time just tell customers before you start or when they sit then so we know & are prepared to pay extra for certain services. I never raised my voice or yelled I was polite & calm the entire time. So they continue to argue about what I'm saying (the manager & the tech at this point) & I'm still not trying to argue but they still are so finally the manager honors the quoted price. I politely thank the manager he said "sure no worries" & I leave. I get home & they text me to never return to they shop & I was appalled! They mustve gotten my number from the sign in monitor which I never thought they'd ever use my personal number to contact me but only for like points per visit. I respond as to why they texted me that. Then they continue to text me & I'm still appalled because this has NEVER happened to me before. They tell me I should've known the price because I came in February & I tell them I've not been there recently so that's the reason I called to get the price before coming today. They were unprofessional & rude in the texts & I'm not a confrontational person but this wasn't right. I told them I would never be back & never would any of my family. They told me some other shop may welcome me. This review is not to tell people to not go to this salon its just enlighten people to ask for all prices for all services because some things are extra since they may not mention it before checkout. Amy did an amazing job! Went in on a Sunday for the first time because everywhere else was closed. Looked brand new and pretty on the inside. I went in for an acrylic nail fill in, i told him which length I wanted and what shape. He told me my nails were lifted so he had to put a new set on my hands. He then proceeding ripping off my old acrylics with a plastic nail, hurt like hell btw, and starting new on my raw fingernails. Got Acrylic on my skin so it had a bad burning sensation but i tried to ignore it best I could to be polite. He got the perfect shape and perfect length like I wanted and proceeded to file more down. My nails are now wide, super short, some crooked, and all uneven. After going in there trying to only spend 40$ including the gel polish, i walked out spending 60$ on nails that are so ugly. I got dip powder and pedicure here 3 days ago and my dip powder has chipped on one nail and completely cracked on another. They were super unprofessional as the lady who did my pedicure started my nails (incorrectly) and was then taken over by someone else but what she did was never fixed. I got french tip gel nails which was $20 plus $7 for getting French tip... and then I also got just a simple color change on my toes, French tip as well and they charged $18 for a color change & $7 on top of that of French tip??!!
