Really good places to get a slice in the area. Some might say the perfect pizza place for lunch. The chicken bacon ranch pizza slice was so amazing I decided to get it as a full pizza the next week. Sadly, something about the translation into a full pizza did not do it for me. It didn't taste as magical as it did in slice form. I decided to try them again a month or so later but this time I tried a different choice, the Duncan. This one had BBQ chicken and pineapple and was delicious. Went in and was told our pizza would be brought over to us next door. They estimated 20 min. 35 min later we went over to find the pizza sitting on the counter cold. We had a sausage and mushrooms pizza. Plenty of topping but the sausage was almost flavorless. Hard to say the quality of the dough on a cold pizza. My husband and I stopped by the boss lady pizza shop to get a couple of slices after hiking around. When you walk in, they have several pieces that you can choose from. I got the chicken Parmesan slice, and my husband got the pepperoni. Both pieces were quite large. I love the dough. Crispy thin crust. The edge is being really good. I don't know who the Boss Lady is but I'd love to meet her and propose marriage because her pizza changed my life; I fell in love at first bite. I only like NY style pizza, but I've had my fair share of droopy, grease-soaked catastrophes over the years. After moving from CA to CO, I feared I wouldn't find quality NY-style near by like I had in LA, but after a Safeway trip next door, I found a keeper. I am a simple guy and like plain cheese, and Boss Lady's cheese slices are divine. Perfect ratio of sauce to cheese, not dripping in grease, not too gooey, not too spicy or sweet, and crust that's firm yet soft. You can actually eat a slice with just one hand and no falling apart! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Mofo Hawaiian, which is basically a Hawaiian pizza with BBQ sauce and bacon pieces added. A delectable balance of savory and sweet and high quality ingredients. Two slices run about $9 but it's more than worth it to me for the size and taste. Every staff member I've encountered thus far has given peppy and quick service. It's not really a sit down restaurant, but take out is a breeze. There's also vegan/gluten-free options if that's your thing. Located in Superior, Boss Lady delivers a superior pie. I recently moved to the area and been wanting some pizza. Found this place and thought to give it a try. Well! Upon going in all you hear is music blaring so loud! I thought I was in a bar and not a pizza place. Took a few minutes for someone to assist me at the counter. I ordered a medium pepperoni and pineapple pizza, let's just say I wouldn't be getting pizza here again. The pizza was horribly disgusting! the pizza was very thin and it was burnt underneath. Boss Lady makes some damn good pizza. It's so awesome being able to indulge every once in awhile while still keeping things vegan. We placed our order online and opted to pick it up, curbside. It's a bit strange that there isn't a designated spot to park so I had to park where I could and hope for the best. Fortunately, the guy bringing the pizza out noticed my vehicle and didn't look like the confused Travolta gif. One thing I'll criticize this place for is the "employee benefits" fee that's racked into the bill. I'm all for paying people what they deserve and folks having a livable wage, but that shouldn't come out of my pocket. It should be the company's responsibility to fund that charge. The pizza taste freaking great! And except for my one gripe, it's priced just right. That gripe...it's hard to figure out the pricing when you are a walk-in. I ordered the 14". I've been in pizza joints where you can only get one size in gluten-free, but the menu really doesn't suggest you can't get a regular 14". I figured this out too late. Nothing, 1st orderdoesn't seem to be "correct" (nothing, alike first order) hubby's tired, long week of working; open the box, barely, any toppings, insofar able to have visual of bottom "pie" half crust and other half is tiny pizza; another order and my request(s) was simply, in receipt of more "adequate" for 16" and charged me extra! But, I'm not asking for extra, just enough toppings that cover should cover 16" price $31+ ($36 with "extra charge") for pizza. I think, it's $$ pricey for pizza. Not to forget, another let down so called attempts, with right type +/or amounts of sauce(s) & unaware, we have to pay extra for dipping sauce. Even though, it's yummy at times, downfalls, besides not providing us correct toppings, missing sauces, there's not enough toppings. I've eaten pizza, bare to minimum toppings, thinned out enough to see bottom! Next, we've received pizza, not baked all the way and also, received pizza that is burnt! 12/10 - I know I waited to submit this review and my husband said, he did not recognize one person in the place. Last time, guy that was running the place solely, unable to take orders via online or by phone and my husband went in to see if you guys were close/open and found out, he's all alone, forced to disable ordering system in attempts to catch up with flooded amount(s) or orders. We stopped ordering for a while, visitors came over and easiest way to feed visitors is pizza. I guess, it was guy's last day, my husband said, unrecognizable staff, rudeness in ordering, etc., and of course, pizza is unrecognizable, tastes different, due to large slices and amounts of tomatoes covering entire pizza. Then, crust, it's texture is different. Again, overpriced pizza and, it's not worth it. I am sure employees will either get better with time and/or change. I did not have heart to take off one more star; in the beginning, they had a chance, my husband and I would eat the entire pizza in one sitting. I live 1.3 miles away and my pizza was delivered late cold and soggy. They were apologetic when they delivered it but it doesn't change the quality of the pizza. And they didn't offer a discount. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I placed an order online a few weeks ago. When I got to the pizza place, they said my order DID NOT GO THROUGH!!!! I was even laughed at by the woman at the cash register!!! Another woman came to help me. I had to place the order again!!!! Instead of 30 minutes, this entire process took about 90 minutes!!! I was placing a large order online for our engagement party. There was no option for ordering ahead. We tried to call immediately after submitting the order to explain what happened and update our pick up time but had a hard time getting through. When I finally got someone on the phone and explained the situation, they said "too bad, we already started making the order" with no effort to help. We paid $200 for pizzas that will be cold by the time the event begins. Online ordering does not function properly and store is not willing to work with customer. Food is good but you can get pizza just as good, that is less pricey and with better customer service. Very disappointing. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

I ordered my pizza it came out wrong. The guy said I would have to wait another half hour. I did not want them to waist the food and I did not have the time to wait. So I took the pizza. The pizza I ordered was much more than the pizza I brought home. When I opened the box it did not have the sauces that come on the side. The pizza was terrible so I called to get my money back at least the difference in the cost. The manager refused to refund me and blamed me for not waiting for them to make a new pizza. She was rude and only offered me a e coupon. I said that I would not be back because the pizza was not good. Ovens need to be cleaned and the health department should be notified about the slice pizzas rotting on the rack by the register. Do your self a favor and skip this place. read more

Got 2 slices on 8/13. It's pretty good compared to others around here, however.. the gluten-free was NOT gluten-free. My body has a way of telling me when gluten is ingested. The staff lady was an absolute delight to interact with and the atmosphere was very positive. The pizza was most delicious, but the gluten-free had gluten contamination. That's nobody's fault though, as I know how difficult keeping gluten-free items isolated in a place full of bread dough can be! I will definitely recommend to others and will return for more slices when I get a pizza craving again. read more

A pizza place must first be judged by the quality of its basic pizzas so we started with the basic 1/2 and 1/2, a terrific option for the non-pepperoni eaters in our family. It was 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni - these people get families! Crust is great, nice and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and not at all tough - this is a really good sign! Sauce is terrific, nice proportion on the pie of sauce and just a nice undertone of heat and herbs in it. Quite good. Price is also great! Putting this in my top slot for NY style pizza in the area. Also enjoyed the Greek salad - super delicious, crispy and flavorful - and as a side salad, was enough to feed a family of 4 with the large 20" pizza and glad it is closer by - will get pizza and salad here again soon! read more
