Traditional Gyradiko has opened up in Rosebery!!!!…read more I've heard about this place out in Bexley but since that's a bit of a trek...never made it out there. Well hot damn I'm so glad it just opened up out this way. You can get takeaway or eat in...if you eat in you can bring the whole family as there's plenty of space. They serve alcohol too...what's not to like? You can get a gyro for $9, and if you want chips and a drink just tack on $5...can you say value?!? They have other dishes, but some weren't available yet like their burgers (I will eat you...maybe not now...but I will eat you.) I got the pork gyro and it was fan-fuggin-tastic. Tender meat and their chips are really really good...they must sprinkle the good stuff on them. They also make their own sauces, and I loved their aioli. Will definitely be back to get more gyro goodness as well as trying their platters.

We both ordered a plate which came with crispy, pork cooked to perfection. If you enjoy crackling, get the pork! Side of tasty chips, fresh greek salad, good sized portion of tzatziki and AMAZING pita bread. The small platter cost $16 including a soft drink and the portion size was more than enough for me. The staff were also friendly and chatted to all of the customers who came through. Plenty of seating as well as being a take away shop. Will definitely be going back for a gyro!

This wonderful fairytale has a happy outcome because like Cinderella this beautiful princess has prevailed and shown her true beauty to the World. My Sweet Boutique ( MSB ) is one of Sydney's hottest food trucks and it specialises in waffles. They open to the public Wednesday - Sunday and serve across from the Enmore Park. The Food Truck is beautifully decorated by lots of nice food isms and the whole truck screams Instagram so you better be prepared to # and snap to your hearts content and that's before and of the glorious food is even served. The Waffles come in 6 variations of flavours some of which include the 2204 and Enmore Road. The flavours favour from the flavouring sauces and fruit and nut content. The option is for it to come in a slider ($6) slab ($9) or in a mason jar ($12). Of course everyone wants the jar because it's more fun. The jar I got was 2204 which offered a combination of ice cream, smashed waffles, banana, popcorn and salted Caramel. The presentation is absolutely amazing here and it's almost a crime to eat out of something that looks that good but just try and resist. The jar comes with the option of a lid too which is cute if you want to keep the jar and try DIY job on it later. Also on offer here is the famous Nutella names Jars. So basically you get a personalised jar stacked with waffles and cream on the top and inside gorgeous Nutella and ice cream on the inside. It's an absolute must for anyone that wants to show off to their friends. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to assist you with recommendations on the best selections. My Sweet Boutique is a gorgeous food truck that is definitely a piece of gold that Marrickville is happy to keep for themselves because these place would go off anywhere because my friends this place is an absolute diamond.

We tried the special of the week and the name alone will make you salivate. Who can honestly say no to "Belgian waffles smothered with melted chocolate and maltesers. Topped with salted caramel Icecream and sprinkled with crunchy popcorn."?! Yes the lines are long but they move quickly and totally worth it. You can thank yelp later for leading you to this hidden gem.

So far, the Mister Gee's burger truck has been tucked away in a car wash behind the Burwood…read moreWestfield. It is quite simply good food mixed with an element of surprise. Mister Gee confirms their location, opening time, and the one burger they'll serve for the week, sporadically on their Facebook page, and are only open Thursday to Saturday (for now). I have had the good fortune of tasting their Truffle burger yesterday, and it is one of my top beef burgers. With meunster cheese, rocket, drizzled with truffle mayo - This burger definitely knows how to look after you. Their chicken burger on the other hand, was tasty but forgettable - don't get me wrong though, it was still very good. Order up with the dirty fries and you're set to be satisfied.

Let's put something fatty and heavy...on something else that's fatty and heavy but super sweet which overpowers the burger. Anyways if you like brioche bun burgers more power to you...but I hate them. That being said, Mister Gee's burgers work well with their buns and don't overwhelm the burger itself, so good on them for that. By the way if you didn't know, Mister Gee's only showcases one burger each week out of their 4 burgers: The Truffe, Fatboy, Cheese Boogie, and Chicken. Rocked up on a Thursday and the line was already 30 deep around 645pm, so the wait was roughly half an hour. Not a fan of queues, but they're there for a reason. This week was the Truffe Burger, and I naturally had to order a double. This burger is supposedly the favourite one among the staff, so I had expectations but I tempered them too. The dirty fries were also on showcase, so had to order those as well. The dirty fries were decent, but whoever made them didn't salt them properly as the salt was distributed unevenly....mega salty in the middle and barely salted on the edges. Not sure I'd order these again unless they fixed that up. The Truffe was pretty good...I wasn't expecting it to be, but I had no qualms with this burger, especially at $13 for a double. The truffle oil with the mayo and cheese went well with the grass fed Tasmanian beef patty. Did I enjoy this burger more than the Bronx at Five Points? Yes I did...I'm definitely keen to try the Cheese Boogie and Fat Boy now. My only gripe (besides the fries) is that this place isn't the most accessible if you live by the CBD, but if you live by inner west you should by all means go.

So I had previously been to the crown street store and was super disappointed, a year or two later…read moreI've decided to give them another chance. I ordered the pork burrito which was real dope, pork was tasty good amount of guacamole and a nice change from black beans that most places are using these days (cantina Mobil use pinto beans) I did opt out of chipotle mayo on the burrito (because I fucking hate chipotle sauce and I hate mayonnaise even more) The friend I ate with got the beef tacos and the pork tacos, pork was the obvious winner however they too didn't like the chipotle mayo sauce (and they are a chipotle sauce lover) Also the hallway that leads from the front of the restaurant to the seating out the back smells rank, fix the chat sewerage smell ASAFP! In conclusion I was very satisfied with my $12.50 burrito, the chipotle mayo hybrid sauce isn't for everyone and they better fix the smell.

They got rid of that cute truck-shaped bar, and instead created an open bar space with stools. The new layout looks pretty slick and contemporary. To be honest, their old layout was very charming and almost romantic. But this is Glebe, and there's so much competition, so if they want do a Madonna now and then, I'm okay with it. ANYWAY....The menu is small, but what they make...they make really well. I recommend ordering their 3 for $10 tacos, and downing them with some good ol' fashioned Tequila...ahem I mean Corona. The tacos are small, and on soft tortillas (which have a very homemade flavor to them!). They come with the filling of your choice, crisp cabbage, queso fresco (THE BEST!), and a lime/orange dressing which I can't quite place but might be the marinade. I strongly recommend getting the guacamole add-on. And if you're a little more adventurous, ask them to add the habanero (but tell them to put only a little, or you'll be breathing fire through your butt for a week!). This might also be one of the healthier alternatives too. Unless you order the burrito. Only order the burrito if you are HUNGRY. I mean, that thing is massive. Just don't be a prick and order the Burrito Desnudo (naked burrito) because then that's just a salad and you can get that anywhere. The soft corn tortillas are fantastic, and carbs are good for you. I disagree with general consensus that this is "cheap" takeout. This is premium takeout food, and is not really cheap (except for the 3 for $10 tacos, which I think are available on a certain weekday). Staff are generally pretty friendly, but they often seem short staffed.
