In-laws shared one of their grass fed cows with us. Cutrer's did a horrendous job. We are 95%…read moresure we didn't' even receive our own cow. Ground beef was 70% lean at best. All steaks were cut at angles with bones in places not expected. T-bones didn't resemble t-bones. Sirloins had bones going through them sideways. No ribeye had the eye. They were cut off and nowhere to be found. Cut and quality of steaks we received are impossible to grill. We tried and can't chew it. Not even a great white shark could. I've never got a chuck roast with wide, narrow long bones in it. Briskets were cut thin and tough as the sole of a shoe. Anything we've tried to cook has been a complete disappointment. Only way to eat any of it was to smother it for hours. Some had to be tossed out because there was no hope.

With fresh veggies it was moist & so tender! They now have a loyalty card which I got today. Plus they now carry my fav brand of ice cream & dairy items by Prairie Farms. I shop exclusively at Sunflower now that Greers has added a 10% surcharge on all their groceries (even premarked items). I do miss the deli but hopefully Rameys will put one in the poplarville store. Happy, friendly people work here...they greet every customer unlike Greers cashiers who rather text or chat amongst themselves. I haven't steppped foot in Greers since I was ripped off to tune of $18.96 on my grocery bill the 1st week they became "cash savers". Looking forward to shopping again next week at Sunflower/Rameys :)

What I found there was a actual butcher, employees who were polite, courteous, and eager to help you find what you need, as well as management staff working alongside their associates . Everyone, staff and customers alike all had smiles on their faces. The prices were reasonable, the meat was fresh, and it was well stocked. It is an older store but it was clean and well situated/organized. Store Specials begin every Friday and you can view the circular online as well as make out your list. My total bill was $129 and I got good quality food including canned, frozen, fresh meat and fresh produce. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I was able to manage this store and that means the world to me.. Parking was right in front and one of the associates put the items from my cart to the conveyor belt, bagged them, and then loaded them in my car!!!!!!! I didn't even have to ask! This is a true blessing. I am definately going to be a regular customer. Thank You Ramey's Marketplace!

I've come in about 6 or 7 times only to find the deli closed because the machines were already cleaned and sanitized. And I'm not arriving right at closing time, usually 1-2 hours before closing. Last night I got there around 5:30 (right after work) and was told they were already broke down for cleaning, they don't close until 8, this is ridiculous! I understand they take a little time to clean for the next day (should only take 20 min. tops though). I used to work in a restaurant and had to break them down after daily prep M-F, so I fully understand the time involved, just very frustrating. I'm sure the deli counter is their big $$ maker, every time I come in, if there are other customers that's where they are.
