That said , it is located in an office that apparently operates like a mill. Did not make me feel comfortable at all in this age of Covid to have so many people running around in the tiny space they occupy filled with people getting glorified massages unmasked. Not to mention the treatments themselves which I'll cover. The treatment I got was almost laughable after spending about 5 minutes with the chiropractor. She proceeded to tell me that She was also an acupuncturist . From there she placed me with a " therapist " who placed an ice cold set of gel packs on my lower back and proceeded to hook me to an electric impulse machine which did absolutely nothing. From there , after about 5 minutes I was moved over like a cattle in a cattle car brigade behind a few peeps to do an adjustment. The adjustment was done within one minute of another " customer " and I didn't witness any cleaning , just a rolling of tissue covering. This chiropractor then proceeded to give me the worst back massage for about 60 seconds and highlighted it with " cracking my neck " without asking if she could do that. Many people have suffered strokes from that type "adjustment ". All in all the treatment lasted 2 minutes and was done on a table that had some sort of Wrestlemania contraption built in so that the patient hears when a little push occurs , which is all for show and effect. She rescheduled me for another visit and I took it just to see . Three days later I was put through the same mill only this time the adjustment lasted about 60 seconds and was a joke. She barely touched my back and exerted almost no pressure. It was a ripoff. I'll never go back and I suspect this is a mill foe your typical chiropractic scamming. Avoid. They're horrible.

I found LeBon Chiropractic and I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Steck and Melanie (and the activator gun). They are both so nice and truly care about you as a patient and, with the activator gun, the pressure is only applied to the area that needs it. Sometimes one single vertebrae. Was referred to SRO by my St. Luke's doctor. I had been experiencing back and leg pain eminating…read morefrom my spine for many months. No injury cause, just getting older (67). Saw Dr. Paul Chin, originally diagnosed as labral tear, did PT and Chiropractic, no improvement. MRI revealed spinal isues, referred to Dr. Edmund Choi. More PT and Chiro and recommended Hemilamenectomy. No improvement, elected for surgery March 2024. Dr. Choi supposedly performed the Hemilamenectomy and pain level reduced for a couple of weeks, then came back worse than ever. Continued PT, Chiro and Aquatic Therapy with no reduction in pain. Even tried another injection. Nothing was improving. I ended up getting another MRI and a 2nd medical consult from a Nuerosurgeon who reviewed multiple MRIs (pre and post op) and questioned me as to what surgery Dr. Choi had performed. My new Nuerosurgeon at Memorial Hermann-Woodlands said there was no evidence of any previous surgery in my spine and we were both shocked. Needless to say, I hired the Neurosurgeon to repair my spine which he skillfully completed in August 2024. I'm now 100% pain free and walking well (no thanks to Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and espcially Dr. Choi). A couple of positive comments re: SRO - Office staff are excellent. Dr. Beukelman is a great chiropractor. All the PT crew were excellent, especially Aquatics with Kristin! I can not recommend Dr. Edmund Choi and suggest getting a second opinion to ensure adequate care. I spent almost a year in debilitating pain because this doctor couldn't fix the problem. A HUGE disappointment...
