Prime Visitor
Visitor center for the eponymous Wildlife Refuge and will be the main meeting area for the Festival of the Cranes classes and tours.
The Good:
*Visiting the VC is free, but to enter the park, it is currently $5 per vehicle.
*Filtered water bottle refill station
*Large, heated restrooms located in a separate building
*Gift shop
*Info booth
*Some educational displays
*Food truck/vendor area (I think this is just for the festival but not 100%)
*Energy efficiency upgrades made recently
The Meh:
*Not the biggest VC around, but it's probably sufficient for the 99% of the year when the Festival of Cranes isn't ongoing.
*Meeting room for classes, but they're still operating an old skool projector for presentations.
*No WiFi, but the cell reception was pretty good throughout the park.
The Ugly:
*According to their website, the landline telephone there works "intermittently."
TLDR: Nice VC with basic--but necessary--amenities. read more
