It was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable with good sheets and pillows. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only criticism I would have was the facility's ice machine and coke machine were out of order at the time of my visit. But those are minor details when compared with my very nice room. I do a lot of business travel and am accustomed to staying at Hilton chain hotels. In comparison, I would have to say that Hilton hotels are much fancier with amazing beds and bedding but when compared dollar for dollar with the more budget friendly American Inn I cannot find any fault. The staff who operate the motel are genuinely lovely people. Very well done!

It is directly across from the motel, and is on a very small parcel of land on the outskirts of Meridian. My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend as we had family celebrations to attend in Iredell, Hico, and Granbury, as well as visiting my grandparents who live in an assisted living facility in Meridian. Even though the sites are teeny, tiny they are decently maintained, and are on grass. Our 5th wheel's blocks sunk about an inch and half into the ground while we were here for 3 nights. But that may be because of the constant raining in Texas right now. The price is a bit steep for what it is, but I guess there aren't many RV parks in the area to choose from and we were late when booking our reservation.

The pull thru are for overnighters was well maintained, clean and level. The shower rooms were also nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The showers/restrooms were well thought out with decor and quality of fixtures. The only less than perfect for me, the set up in the showers were a little awkward as there was very little room or places to keep clothes dry while showering and then changing, I am personally not a fan of public changing rooms. All of the staff we encountered were very nice and appropriately chatty, friendly and welcoming people. Definitely recommend this place.

It was well priced and had long paved pull through sites with full hook ups. There are pecan trees and a bit of grass between the sites. There are no picnic tables or fire pits which didn't bother us much. There are showers and laundry machines which we did not utilize. There is a wonderful and peaceful park right there that has a playground, a field, and walkway. It was a nice and quiet area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely keep this place in mind if ever we are in the are again.
