He noticed that we had hail damage on our roof and siding. We explained that a previous contractor said the same thing but our insurance company denied the claim. He offered to be present when the insurance adjuster performed their assessment and, four days later, we received word that the insurance company was now going to replace the entire roof and all of the siding. Cody offered recommendations on shingle products and set up a time for us to visit the building supplier so we could review our options. His quote for the roof didn't require us to pay anything out of pocket and his roofing crew did an excellent job cleaning up the job site during and after each day's work. His crew completed our large roof in two days and Cody came out personally each day and at the end to walk the job site, pick up debris, and address a few minor concerns. We could not be happier with our new roof and highly recommend his services. We would absolutely work with him again in the future. Thank you, Cody!

I was not trying to bash this business, but I posted a review on Google today and the company said…read moreI was fake. Now I know I need to expand. The company is unscrupulous and it just isn't ok. They disavowed ever having worked with us. Take it for whatever it is worth. This wasn't an effort to rate them low, but then they disavowed us as clients. The review is real. The work was not nearly as high-quality as we would have hoped for with the cost. As far as we could tell, they did not do more than a primer on the walls. There were many detail-related issues that fell short. The contractor was really never on site. It was very rarely that he came to check on the work of his team. Mostly he just was not there to see if his crew was doing quality work. He would come after they left and then say he would tell them later. He was never there at the same time as him as far as we know. We had a bathroom remodeled and the paint they used was not suited to be used over a shower, as the ceiling above the shower immediately began peeling upon use. It looks awful and started looking awful right away. There are multiple areas where we had to fix them on our own. They touched up areas of the paint with a different paint than the first paint, so you can see patches. The crawlspace door, for example, was so poorly re-attached after painting it, that it fell off almost immediately. The wet bar was installed such that when they reconnected the pipes, it leaked and flooded part of the basement and ruined some of the brand new floors they had just put in. We needed to replace the kickplate on the cabinet under the sink due to the water damage. Every time we pointed something out that had not been done, they said it was supposedly not what we initially said we wanted. Be VERY specific about what you want, down to the small details. Document it. In addition, they told us they might fix stuff, but they had no time to come back later due to other pending jobs. And it took FOREVER to finish. The price would have been fine overall, but considering how much we had to address on our own, we are not at all satisfied with what we got for the money. It is not ok to have to follow up on a full remodel and have to fix stuff on our own after the fact. To summarize, the basement is better than it was before, but not nearly as good quality of the work we thought we would get. Would not recommend. This job cost us $23k. We felt like we were just a space-filler job between other more important and profitable jobs to them, and the end result was an obvious testament to their "quality" and "flawless" work. We would have persisted about the inadequacy in the work, but by the time it was done, we were over it.

Unfortunately, Backyard Oasis was not a reputable installer & Latham made it very clear afterward, even though Latham certified them they had no ties to Backyard Oasis. Backyard Oasis damaged everything they touched, stole from us, lied trying to bury their detrimental mistakes & abandoned our project. We inquired with multiple other pool installers on our situation. The professional consensus was that everything we had was damaged & in need of starting over from scratch. Then we got in touch with Lawns Unlimited! Right away I took note that Brett's pool knowledge was second to none! What he said just made sense! Becky's communication/updates & follow-through were greatly appreciated, especially after our Backyard Oasis experience. Lawn's Unlimited was able to repair damages caused by Backyard Oasis, salvage what was salvageable, make our home safe again & get our children swimming. Lawns Unlimited did NOT cut corners correcting the absolute disaster we handed them.
