Having worked in coffee shop operations before, I must say that 24-hour coffee shops are really admirable. At some point, you really have to rest your machines and give them a deep clean. Same goes for the floors and the backroom surfaces that could get a little sticky and grimy at the end of each day. But operating a 24-hour cafe is a lot of work. It will require you always making sure that cleanliness is a non-negotiable, and this is despite the many people who come and go and get their coffee. Bo's Coffee along Jupiter is one of such 24-hour coffee and tea places, and unsurprisingly, the place is always full of students who are hunched over their books and study materials. I would always come here with friends after enjoying a rowdy round of bites and small meals around Burgos' hole in the wall food places, and it is always such a nice and quite place to relax after the bustle of Williamsburgos' typical neon-and-chrome racket.
Their coffee is great, and they are one of the most admirable local brands in terms of world-class branding and presentation. I would order their pour over coffees and espresso drinks, but I also love their juices. They also stock up on my favorite Bayani Brew local iced teas, which are sustainable, and they provide livelihoods for the workers at the Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm. The place is always spotless, and the tables and chairs are very comfortable. There are a couple of long tables that can accommodate an entire study group, and the WiFi is decent. This one is also close to other 24-hour establishments like the Army Navy next door, and the string of fastfood restaurants within the Jupiter area - making it a perfect all-nighter spot for the cramming during finals week. read more
