He performed a detailed evaluation of my condition, and patiently answered many questions. I/we interviewed 3 surgeons before making a decision. The other 2 surgeons had impressive credentials. However, it was evident that Dr. Huo was our best choice based on his experience and communication skills. He was very forthcoming with answers and abundantly patient with all our questions. I/we are so grateful for Dr. Huo and the excellent results I received from surgery. It feels so good to be out of pain, and be able to resume my physical fitness and good quality of life. Dr. Huo practices out of San Juan Capistrano and Fountain Valley.

From a clinical standpoint, the outcome has been extraordinary: I have been completely pain-free since the day of surgery. The improvement in my mobility, strength, and overall quality of life has been profound. Dr. Melikian combines exceptional surgical skill with careful judgment and genuine care for his patients. The entire process -- from consultation to recovery -- was handled with professionalism and precision. Thank you, Dr. Melikian, for giving me back an active, pain-free life! I am forever grateful!

When I asked if I was fused from my spinal fusion he said, "Of course not--you're only a year out." But when I told him my original surgeon said I was fused, he completely changed his answer and said, "Well then, I guess you are." It was obvious he was biased towards the other doctor instead of taking care of the patient in front of him.He avoided my questions, seemed dismissive, and offered no real help until I got visibly frustrated--and grabbed my things. He then gave me rushed "lip service" and casually said well let me check your strength in your hands and arms. Then Flippantly said, Yep you will need a neck fusion. Come see me when you are ready! He came across as arrogant and uninvested. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Peters is a great surgeon. He always answered all my questions and explained things to me. I was nervous about having permanent swallowing issues and he was always honest and upfront with me. I had my surgery on 3/25/25. I was very impressed with the whole experience, even the Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Irvine. They are very on top of infections and avoiding them at all costs. It took me 3 reschedules due to some medical stuff I had going on and Dr. Peters was very insistent that I could not have any type of possible infections going on anywhere in my body before surgery. Plus a big thing to know is DO NOT shave or get any cuts before surgery because they will send you home. One of the biggest reasons I went with Dr. Peters besides him being a good surgeon is that every time I called his office, his assistant Kailey got right back to me. It is important to me that I can get answers after surgery if something doesn't go right and I wanted a Doctor that I would get answers from right away. His assistant Kailey is the best!! She was with me the whole way from the beginning to the follow up. She helped me through the whole process. I am 2 weeks post surgery now and I feel pretty good. I am eating regular foods and sometimes I feel I am still swollen inside, I remind myself I am only 2 weeks out. I am very happy with my choice of surgeon and how everything went. I highly recommend Dr. Peters.

My mother-in-law fell and fractured her right pinky finger. thanks to her PCP who sent her to get imaging done after the incident. We found out exactly what was wrong with her. She had been in pain for a while. You know when it comes to caring for a loved one with Dementia is hard as they cannot express fully what's troubling them. They called my mother-in-law we went to the back immediately we were in a room. In comes a PA, he is going to get a few xrays to see how her pinky is healing. Dr. Wong was outstanding--patient, professional, kind, and took his time explaining everything clearly and calmly. He reassured us without panic and made a stressful situation feel manageable. I truly cannot say enough good things about him. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was the complete opposite. This is an orthopedic office. I was here the week prior after an accident, completed my MRI, and returned after they received the results. The office already had my ID, insurance, and full information on file. When I arrived, the front desk staff was on her computer with AirPods in her ears the entire time. I was told "one second," ignored, and met with a rude, dismissive attitude. I was asked to email my insurance again even though it was already on file. The most concerning part happened when a nurse came out looking for a patient named Mohammed. The nurse asked the front desk who Mohammed was. Instead of checking the system--while holding my ID--the front desk staff stood up and pointed at me and said, "that guy." The nurse then came back out and loudly asked, "Are you Mohammed?" in the waiting area. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. My name is clearly not Mohammed, and they had my ID in hand. Being repeatedly singled out and asked if I was "Mohammed" based solely on my appearance (brown skin and a beard) was humiliating and should never happen in a medical setting. To make matters worse, once I was taken back, it became clear that my information was entered incorrectly, and the doctor later came looking for a different patient because I was listed under the wrong name/room. Patients coming to an orthopedic office are often injured, anxious, and in pain. Front desk staff should help reduce stress--not create it. While Dr. Wong's care was exceptional, the front desk behavior made the visit far more stressful than it ever should have been. I hope management takes this seriously, because the contrast between the quality of the doctor and the front desk experience is striking.
