It did take my car about three weeks to get back but only because the at-fault insurance company took FOREVER to respond. I'm sure I would've gotten my car back within a week if it wasn't for Ocean Harbor. Victor's body shop was so incredibly patient and extremely communicative. My car looks brand new. Finding a shop you can trust with an older vehicle isn't easy. I brought my Tacoma to Eddie's…read moreSmooth Refinishing for frame preservation and underbody restoration. Eddie was straightforward throughout the process, and the amount of work involved was obvious once I saw that the bed had been removed to access and treat areas properly. What impressed me most wasn't just the work itself, but how they handled a concern afterward. When I found a few areas that I wanted touched up, Eddie immediately acknowledged it and worked with me to get it corrected. No excuses, no runaround. That level of customer service is hard to find today. If you're looking for a shop that takes pride in its work and stands behind it, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eddie's Smooth Refinishing.

It looks like a brand new car (other than the headlights her husband had drilled holes into to let out the moisture - those will be replaced with new ones this coming weekend). This car had both rust and hail damage and all of those issues are now gone and she is thrilled with the result. Charlie also replaced the cowling where the windshield wipers come through. The time estimate he gave (at least 10 days) was an accurate reflection of the work that was needed to do the job right. She received a lesser estimate from a place that said it could be done in 3 days - not a chance!!!! The price paid for the value received was truly a bargain and worth the extra time it took to do the job right!!!! Thanks Charlie for the TERRIFIC JOB you did for my friend. It is a true reflection of your professionalism and ethics.

I have had the unlucky privilege of taking a car to this shop twice in the past year, once with an…read moreinsurance estimate and once with cash in my pocket. The first time, Gerber stuck with the insurance quote and got the job done quickly, and when they didn't have an inessential part they sent me home with my car and had me stop by a couple days later for a quick part install. The second time, I was nervous that I had a much larger dent and would therefore have a much larger cost, but they quoted me a price not much more than the insurance quote for the previous dent, and substantially less than the quote from another recommended shop. They said they'd be done in two days and they were done in more like 36 hours, at estimate and with no sign that my brand-new car had ever been hit. I don't know how this black magic works, but I like it! And, as a bonus, both times I got my car back washed, vacuumed, and even wiped down on the inside, so I could drive to work in style. I hope I never need Gerber's services again, but if I do at least I know they'll do an amazing job!

This was my first time coming to a repair center and having my car fixed so I wasn't sure of all of the steps. My insurance covered everything aside from my deductible. I did have to schedule out about a week and a half because they were swamped, but I understood that and I really didn't want to take it to some of the places with really meh or bad reviews. They gave me a time estimate and my car was done in that time. They gave me a call to let me know when my car was ready. The entire front bumper was damaged, my wheel well pieces (rubber and hard plastic interior were completely ripped off), and the mirrors' paint was shredded a bit. It looks amazing; like nothing ever happened and I will recommend them for sure. I hope they don't take this the wrong way, but I would like to not have to visit any time soon!

It was in great condition and the previous owner kept it in the garage and hardly drove it. Just around town and errands. The only issue was some deep scratches on the rear truck area under the spoiler. After we purchased it my wife begged me to have the truck lid repainted. I had several estimates from repair collision centers around town. Those estimates were very costly! I told my wife no on the repair and we would look for other alternatives. A friend of ours recommended Oscar's Paint & Body because they have used them several times and was very pleased and satisfied with their work. We went by and had him look at it and gave us a quote. Wow; it was 75% less than the two other quotes we had. They did a great job on our Beetle truck area and we were very satisfied with the work! I would definitely recommend Oscar's Paint & Body!!!! Everyone was very friendly. The work was done on time and when promised to be completed. They communicated with us when it was completed and said it was ready for pickup. So glad we found Oscar's!!!
